magikarp definitely takes the cake on this topic. i mean, the only attack it has until it evolves is splash...

In the blue i remembered i bought a magikarp from an old man and had to keep switching him between battles to give him experience and evolve later in the game.

I totaly hate Gastly. I was stuck with him because i wanted Gengar in the end. Such low attack at first and awesome attack at the end.

When I first started Platinum up I made sure to grab an Abra and a Magikarp, and I've just got to say those are just freaking insane pokemon to level up. Once you get an Alakazam and a Garados though it's just an absolute powerhouse.

oh man, I remember playing Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow way back in the day and just leveling up Magikarp was a pain in the butt...but once I got my Gyrados...I remember it could learn Fire Blast as well as Thunder...which I thought interesting...it just sucked how the special attack stat went WAY down in the GSC versions...

in every game that I can obtain a Dratini, I make sure to get one because Dragonite is one of the most well-rounded pokemon with the ability to learn quite a few moves

Ralts is one of my favourites. I remember when I first played Sapphire, I kept on going in circles looking for a Ralts then kept complaining to a friend about how hard it was to train it! But I absolutely love Gardevoir, it looks so cool.
