I concur, and also FFVII had such horrible pixelated polygons. But the game's amazing. Everyone knows that.A lot of the older games had bad graphics, but for me it was Legend of Dragoon, the cinematics were awesome but the regular graphics were bad, and the music was annoying sometimes.
games that had good playing but really bad grafics and sound

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are both incredibly fun games, but now that I've been spoiled by the graphics and sound of the newer systems I have a hard time not dwelling on the outdated-ness of those games. I'm better at overlooking it for 2D games though for some reason....

The Force Unleashed, great game, great graphics, but so incredibly frequently every time it came to a button simulation at the end of a boss battle or just any situation involving a button simulation, the sound would always be off by a second or two. Annoyed the crap out of me. Was a great game but it definitely could've used a bit more polish. The concept behind the gaming engines used is brilliant but again the dead characters would always be flailing on the ground for ages after death and I just thought there were some sound and gameplay issues that kinda detracted from the quality and enjoyability of the game.
