need help in devil may cry 3

i keep on losing in mission 20 in DMC 3, i keep on dying in the 'battle of brothers' thing, even if i call on vergil by my side, i still die...HELP!!

well, first off, mission 20 is the final fight between you and vergil <- spoiler for those reading this who haven't gotten there- Anyway, the mission you are talking about is mission 19 boss, my advice would be to go into the boss battle at full health and also make sure that you have maximum health (which i don't know since there is poor explanation on your part, no worries though) and then kick the crap outta him while dodging attacks, when you get to the part where vergil enters and joins up with you, make sure that your near 3/4 to full hp cause the attacks become near relentless, wail on arkham with vergil by your side, don't worry if he gets side tracked. when Arkham spawns those little circling attack dudes, jam on the circle button a few times to get Vergil near you and slice away, keep up the tactics of dodging attacks and beating him down while worrying more about you than vergil (he can't die anyway) and mission 19 will be complete, and if all else fails then recruit a friend who can help you fight the boss as long as you are good about keeping him in camera focus, cause that battle can be 2-player with a second controller in the 2P spot. now if you were truly talking about mission 20, you don't get vergil in that fight and you fight him one on one (like in mission 7 and 13) with a few variations, expect him to DT a bit more often than the previous fights, you can tell he's in DT when you see his life bar increasing (unless you haven't done damage yet, but why wouldn't you have?) he will also have a sort of super DT moment, if you see him enshroud himself in a purple shield, get the heck away from him cause he can pull some crazy DMD type style, (DMD=Dante Must Die) such as continuous helm breaker combo into stinger, and other mean stuff. finally he has a new attack up his sleeve, his three sword draw orb move multiplied to the power of 25 that can be battle arena engulfing. best strategy here is nearly the same with the other vergil battles, play it safe, dodge attacks, shoot when neccessary, DT to strike cancel him out of DT, and stay away from Super DT form. have fun hope this helps you
