Ganondorf, the Gerudo King of Evil Vs. the One Winged Angel, Sephiroth.Who would come out on top if they were to somehow cross pathes?WARNING: Don't read if you don't like spoilersGanondorf:Ganondorf hails from the Legend of Zelda Universe, and is the archnemesis of Link and most often than not final boss. He is an extremely powerful sorcerer and swordsman who has time and again laid waste to the land of Hyrule in a bid to claim the power of the gods known as the Triforce. With the Triforce of Power he was able to gain immortality and became nearly godlike in power which made him an even greater threat. He has killed many people including women and children alike in order to meet his goals. Although he is clever he is often overcome with his burning rage which often leads to his defeats. He is often also portrayed as a Blue Pig Demon with a giant Trident which is also very powerful. In this incarnation he is simply known as Ganon. Alot of time Ganondorf likes to manipulate others to do most of the dirty work for him as he waits on his throne at the end of the final dungeon. However, he is still a very powerful foe, even without the power of the Triforce and most of the time cannot be defeated without the power of the blade of evil's bane, the mastersword which can only be wielded by the chosen hero of the three goddesses who created the Triforce.Sephiroth:In the Final Fantasy universe, he hails from Final Fantasy VII and the archnemesis of Cloud. On this game's earthlike world the planet has a force inside it called the lifestream which is the source of life for the planet and is also where dead souls return to after death. Long ago a powerful alien life form known as Jenova fell to earth. This creature resembled a fallen deity, but it was far from it. It traveled the universe consuming world after world. After crashing to earth it made its way across the planet killing many people until an ancient race sealed it away into the crater it created when it arrived. It stayed dormant until scientists thousands of years later found it and began to experiment on it. They used the cells from its body to try and create super soldiers. Most of them transformed into vile monsters, but one met their expecatations. Sephiroth, while still in his mothers womb was injected with Jenova's cells and after being born looked like a normal human being. Through his life he grew strong and very powerful, almost god-like in strength. After learning of the terrible experiment that made him what he was he turned on humanity, believing they must be punished for their wicked ways of sealing Jenova away. With this simple misunderstanding Sephiroth became a seemingly unstoppable force, capable of creating clones of himself and contolling anyone with Jenova's cells inside them or even using them as a conduit to recreate his own image and mind inside of them. He attempted to create another impact crater in the earth by casting a meteor to fall to the planet in order to gain control of the planet by taking control of the planet's lifestream energy. He morphed his body into a creature with 7 wings, his image of a divine being. Even after death he came back in order to bring pain to the world and his enemies. His power is unreal.

Kefka!.........Seriously, though, it's difficult to say. In terms of battle power, I'd say Sephiroth would win (loathe as I am to admit it). He's got speed and magical firepower that put the G-man to shame.Ganondorf is powerful, but his lack of speed compared to Sephiroth hurts him majorly in this fight. His biggest advantage is the fact that the Master Sword is generally required to defeat him. If the Master Sword is the only thing that can truly defeat Ganon, then Sephiroth might be out of luck. He'll keep beating on Ganon, but the guy just won't go down.It all depends on whether Sephiroth's speed, skill, and magic can compensate for his lack of Master Sword.

Having just battled Sephiroth a number of times in Kingdom Hearts II, I think he'd kick Ganondorf across the screen a few times. He's ridiculously fast and has the magic going on too. At least, I wouldn't want to see him go down easily after the trouble he gave me.But then, the last Ganon I saw was back in A Link to the Past, and SNES can't really convey the sense of power that a PS2 can...

Having ONLY played final fantasy VII would it be biased of me to say Sephiroth? I mean, he's nuts, which usually makes someone more powerful than not right? :wtf:

I think it is hard to say who would defeat whom. Sephiroth is most obviously faster, and he does have an insane amount of power, but don't forget that Ganondorf is strong too, even immoratal with the power of the Triforce of Power, and he can live for seemingly forever. And remember Ganondorf's only true means of defeat would be to be stabbed with the Master Sword, which Sephiroth would not be able to use because he is not the hero. So Sephiroth may be able to subdue Ganondorf, but can that truly be called defeat? Ganondorf has gained lots of new abilities too like the power to possess people, the abilitiy to manifest phantom warriors, and disappear and reappear at will. He could just so easily defeat Sephiroth by using his new power from the Twilight Realm to possess Sephiroth and force him to commit suicide or something as Sephiroth could just use heartless angel and then split Ganondorf in two. And if Ganondorf could possess him he could just use Sephiroth as a new vessel the way Ganondorf possessed Zelda once before. Lets say this battle would take place between the two with both of them at their maximum peak of power, meaning they would have all abilities they have ever had all at once at their disposal. So if that were the case who do you think would win and why?

Well Sephiroth could easily beat on Ganon, but he would have to kill Link for the Master Sword so he could finish the job. But yeah, I vote Sephiroth.

I've got to go with Ganondorf here, I mean with the triforce of power and just his own immense power I don't think Sephiroth could really stop him. Even if he used his super nova attack I think that Ganon would survive it, he's immortal and he can only really be stopped with the Master sword.

Well Sephiroth wouldn't be able to get the Master Sword because hs isn't the chosen hero, so how could he defeat Ganondorf with it? Even then, it seems the Master Sword may not be enough because as long as the Triforce of Power lay in Ganondorf's hand he is immortal. Sephiroth would have to seperate Ganondorf with it somehow, but how could he do that?

I would have to say sephiroth. I mean seriously Ganondorf has his triforce to give him more power and was defeated by 1 person. Sephiroth needed a whole team to defeat him the first time and he only had his own power to use, i mean materia gave him some powers but not as much as the triforce
