I am wondering if this is possible through wifi, are their any apps for it? I feel like newer flashcarts should support this for easy transfer of save files and things like that without taking out the microsd

Nope, not that I'm aware of. Sorry. You're just gonna have to take the card out and transfer it the old fashioned way.

The closest thing I can think of is probably DSFTP, after a small quick run it works, however transfer speed seems to be a problem(around 20KB/s) as opposed to using my USB reader(roughly around 9MB/s), Test was done with Etrian Odyssey 2.

Haha, 3 weeks late, but:SavSender?

SavSender is a tool for the DS that allows for savegame management of official DS saves through Wifi. This is of particular interest to users of slot-1 homebrew devices, as save management is not possible on most slot-1 devices.

I have a slot 2, so I use eepinator, and that just writes the save to the microSD. But from what I hear, they do the same thing, more or less.
