Anyone else broken a PSP?

I was getting out of the car, so put it on sleep mode, after unsleeping it, it froze, after that it never turned on again more than 3 sec

I've dropped my PSP several times while putting on my earphones. There was this one time I dropped it so hard, the screen just blacked out. It was so bad that I can only play my games for a few minutes before having the PSP blacking out again. I eventually gave up on fixing it that I just gave it to my friend as a birthday present, being unwilling to scrap it and all.
