What's your opinion on them? Useful or not?The only one I've tried is Kanji Sono Mama Rakubiki Jiten, and it would not, no matter how I drew them, show certain Kanji. Other than that, I thought it was neat, not entirely functional, but neat. I liked the English support. Any other good ones?

Tbh, I never liked these kind of game-assisted learning programs. . .Although people must think otherwise; Japan seems have no shortage of them. Personal belief that entertainment should be entertainment; learning should be books & texts.

For me, I go for the Japanese soft targeted for testing or practicing Kanji, for example the Kanken series (漢検), rather than the English soft for Kanji learning. However, it would require you some background of Japanese language skill.I quite recommend:Nazotte Oboeru Otona~~ ,, 250 mannin no kannken~~ as for example. You can start practicing your kanji from the level of Japanese primary school till high school and more higher level as wells as you progress. However, the cons is it does provide none translations...so... =="

they aren't very useful as Kanji have multiple ways of saying them and each mean different things, unless the game teaches you each type there's no real point of it
