Children of Bodom is amazing - but i like a band called Soil Work! They are amazing - if anyone goes to look them up, look up a song called "Stabbing The Drama" or "The Crestfallen" - those are probably my favorite songs from them!

I'd say Tarot, Nightwish, Poets of the Fall and Within Temptation would be my favorite foreign bands (as I live in the US). Poets of the Fall is not so known as Nightwish or Within Temptation, yet I still like them as their music is...different. It's like the Dashboard Confessionals of Finland. Pretty cool. Tarot of course, is amazing. Playing heavier metal in the 80's than most 'Death Metal' bands today. Must be the Viking influence over there in that region
