iono if i want to buy the map pack, or just wait for the new halo. but my question is will the halo 3 mythic map pack and legendary map pack work for the new halo 3 odst since its halo 3 right?

Um... I'm not exactly sure what your talking about, but I believe Halo 3: ODST doesn't import maps from the original Halo 3 - It just contains 3 maps for Halo 3 if you already have it.I'd get the Mythic and Legendary map packs if I were you, I did the same and they are very fun.

Well if you're gonna buy odst then don't buy the map pack as odst comes with all of the maps on a seperate disc so i suggest you wait and you'll get your maps.

doesnt ODST come with basically several map packs from 3? I know when I opened my game it was brand new and I wasnt EVER connected to live, but it came alrewady with i believe both the mythic and legendary packs I think (like i said i never went live), but I deffinately had the packs that include Avalanche, Orbital, n maybe 15 other maps as soon as I booted the game.
