in silver, i had the most shiny pokemon without cheats a gyarados, koffing, magnemite, diglett, slowpoke, nidoran and tauros(sp?).in sapphire, i only caught a shiny wailmer which i later evolved. also in leafgreen, i got a shiny pidgey, horsea and my favorite a shiny gastly which became a pure black gengar:)

They are very rare. I've never seen one except the red Gyarados and by hacking.I never got one. :(I played leafgreen, firered, emerald, sapphire but i never got even 1 shiny pokemon.
Is there such a pokemon as Galadot?i have one
i play pokemon gold, sapphire and i got a shiny galadot

over the course of all my gaming in pokemon i have had only 2 shiny pokemon appar and i am here since the red and blue versions.

The only one I've caught is the red Gyrados. However, my bro was lucky enough to find a shiny Gulpin. Too bad it wasn't anything cooler... I think one of my friends spent a whole day just looking for shinies. I don't remember the results though. But I'm not going to lie, I have cheated for a few shinies.

i have 3 shiney pokemon 
one shiny gyrados, one shiny altaria and one shiny milotic all without the use of cheats, of course!

Honestly, I didn't even know that shiny pokemon even existed anymore. I haven't seen a single shiny pokemon since playing gold. I had two back then, I had the obvious Red Gyrados as well as a pidgey.

Only had two ever since I started playing Pokemon: the Red Gyarados and a stupid level 5 Cascoon that I never used. :|

I got one shiny pokemon in all the pokemon games I've played and that was a Yellow Swablu.

Well, after 100+ hours of playing on my Emerald, I have a shiny Zigzagoon and Zubat. Well, at least there's two....

i didn't get any on my GBA games, but did in my crystal version....it was a psyduck and it was AWESOME.

I had Pokemon Gold. My sister and I decided to hunt for the 'Spirit' of Ilex Forest- we didn't know it was Celebii. So we ran circles around the shrine- and bumped into a golden Caterpie. And we thought it was the spirit. *Laugh*Later I caught a shiny Kakuna. And I bumped into a shiny Stantler, but I wasn't paying attention and ran.

lol does cheat countsi have many with cheats lobut i have seen one without cheats in emeraldmy friend was playing it then all of a sudden a shiny machoke comes out

This takes me way back, collecting shiny pokemon that is. Hm, apart from the red gyarados if I remember correctly I had a couple shinies, a zubat, bannette, quagsire, rhyhorn and a ponyta although I lost the latter because I forgot to save the game. =/

The red Gyarados is probably the easiest shiny Pokemon to get.. And that's why it's the only one I've ever had or seen 
Haven't been much of a "Pokemon Collector" in many years so that might play a part of not seeing so many shiny ones.
