so i have 2 accounts on xbox 360 live right. so one of the accounts i have microsoft points but its in silver and i dont bother using it anymore. so i had super puzzle fighter on the silver account and when i choose multiplayer it says something like "this account does not have gold choose another" then i choose my gold account and it works i can play online. but my question is can i do this with any other game for example i want to buy marvel vs capcom 2 will it work that way?

If I remember correctly, the downloaded content is associated with your console, so in theory (I could be wrong though), it should work fine.

well it works with map packs, download from one account, and use on another that works. but for arcade games it doesnt. im trying to find the answer, cause i dont want to waste money on games like that

The best advice I can actually give you would be to contact Microsoft for a clear answer on such a question.This is really the reason why I only have 1 live account on my 360, and only offline accounts for friends to use on it.

yeah haha i would do that but too lazy. i guess my only option is to try it but dang, i want to buy marvel vs capcom 2 but thats like 15 bucks it would be a waste if i cant play it online

I can confirmed it works with DLCs.Purchased Magna Carta 2 DLC using my US account and have no problem using it with my Asia account.
