1. alot of people aren't, the 3 year warranty only covers roughly half of all failures, and when they do fix it they usually don't fix it right so it breaks again soon and they take 2-5 weeks to get it repaired (significantly slower then their competitors)2. I was including pc in it too, and pc has a much higher quality online then live, live doesn't even use servers, the only advantage it has on psn is cross game chat I strongly suggest you do some more research 3. One of the developers on Tales of Vesperia blow the whistle on that one on his blog is in Japanese though and since taken down I could link you responses to blog roughly translating portions of it but that's about it but at anyrate it explains the over a dozen games getting ported to ps3 often with extra contentI would like to suggest that you take another look at the exclusives on both systems at this point in time if you hoenstly think 360 has the best exclusives you are deluding yourself, bioshock, oblivion, fallout 3 and more have gone to ps3 and l4d and mass effect and all those are on pc, and ps3 has been doing nothing but cranking out great new ips (Infamous, Uncharted, LBP, Rachet and Clank, Demon Souls, Valkyria chronicles ect.)I strongly suggest you do some more research and reconsider your positionHonestly I don't care about their policies as long as the 360 has the best games and best online play out of any of the gaming systems. 1. Yes, it has a huge "failrate", but if you are under warranty, you get the repairs for free. I don't see a problem there.2. XBL is not very expensive and I feel that you get better quality out of anything online if you pay for it.3. Link proofs or I could honestly care less. Hell, scratch that, I could just care less.

That would be consistent with being unaware of what console has what gamesHmm perhaps you are right on the PS3 having more exclusives. I honestly don't even know what half of the games you listed are though.

Or just really not caring about games that aren't worth half a tuss. That would be consistent with being unaware of what console has what games

I'll probably end up getting a PS3 somewhere down the line, but since the only current-gen console that I own is an Xbox 360, and my PC is too outdated to keep up with recent PC games, exclusivity doesn't really concern me except for when I can't get a game. I don't care if good games that were out earlier on the 360 get ported to other consoles a year after their original release dates. I also don't care that an xbox live gold membership costs money. You could argue that PC games have better free online support, but I really only find that true with a few games. I like the ease of getting into an xbox live match, rather than searching through a list of available servers. Many of the titles on xbox live also have ranking systems built into the matchmaking so that it's less likely for me to be matched up with someone who is nowhere near my skill level, thus making it more likely that the game will not be boring because it's either too hard or too easy. Frequently i find that the learning curve on online PC games is too high, especially if I buy a game that people have been playing for a while. I don't have any experience with PSN, so I can't attest to whether or not I like xbox live better than it, but I do know that overall, my gaming experience with my 360 has been enjoyable. Besides, there are only a few games on PS3 that really appeal to me, like Infamous. The only problem I have with MS policies on xbox is, more often than not, downloadable content that is free for users on a different platform (usually PC, and usually from Valve) costs money on xbox live. What i don't understand is why people declare allegiance to consoles or corporations that really only care if you buy their products.I would like to suggest that you take another look at the exclusives on both systems at this point in time if you hoenstly think 360 has the best exclusives you are deluding yourself, bioshock, oblivion, fallout 3 and more have gone to ps3 and l4d and mass effect and all those are on pc, and ps3 has been doing nothing but cranking out great new ips (Infamous, Uncharted, LBP, Rachet and Clank, Demon Souls, Valkyria chronicles ect.)

Since you know nothing about them you have no way of knowing that and it's basically just 360 fanboy mentality @Harlequin psn works much the same way the only real difference is cross game chat, and since MS has more ads on their online then everyone else they really shouldn't be charging you and I understand how 360 "exclusives" going to ps3 don't really concern you since you only own a 360 I'm guessing you just bought it because it was cheaper but if you made a choice to buy it based on games (like many ppl do) then those games which were the turning point in which one you picked went to ps3 you'd probably feel cheated (like many have) and there might only be a few exclusive on ps3 that appeal to you but I'd bet it's more then 360 "exclusives" and if you bought your online multiplats for ps3 you'd save 50 a year and I'm also guessing your lucky enough not to have your 360 fail yet since you didn't comment on thatOr just really not caring about games that aren't worth half a tuss.

I'm just pointing out your making assumptions based on absolutely nothing, your assuming the games are no good because you haven't heard of them but thats only because they aren't being advertised (unlike 360 games like halo ODST that get advertised 1000 times a day when they launch) instead of looking into themI don't know if you really expect me to try out every single game for every system or not, because if you are expecting that you are out of your mind. I have a decent amount of free time, but not THAT much. Because of that, I generally stick to games that are either marketed the best or rated the highest - hate it if you will.
Their internal harddrives are overpriced and the only ones that will work with 360 too, I don't get why people defend MS for this BS, I mean I can understand if it doesn't effect them and they really don't care (because people are shallow like that) but to actually defend MS for this BS is just stupid, it's justifying it and leading the way for screwing you over moreAnother policy that I have recently become aware of is that the latest upcoming update, with facebook, twitter and zune integration, will render unauthorized storage devices useless. I guess this is too force people to buy their overpriced proprietary stuff.

Isn't it obvious, their making you buy their external harddrives which are ridiculasly overpriced heres how it plays out-create a monopoly (in this case external harddrives that work with 360)-overcharge for it-????-Profit (and yes the ???? is screwing over your consumers, but MS is keeping it a ????)wat i think of their policies is that their policies r just a load of bulli mean i get the warranty and all but why r they gonna make 3rd developers memory card not working wit the 360it would be better if MS increase the memory in the memory card that they sell so that they wont lose businessalo isnt a memory card much cheaper now for other systems if they have a memory card

Not only has the ps3 came up with loads of great games lately but the 360 is losing most of it's good exclusives because they were just timed exclusives that MS lied about so the 360s exclusive game selection is getting weaker as the ps3s is getting stronger1. Yeah I would have to agree with the failure rate problem. I have had my Xbox360 break down four times now, and none of the problems have been the red ring, so I've had to pay 100 dollars each time.2. Xbox does offer a pretty good online service, I don't really like paying, but I guess 50 dollars a year isn't that bad. I do agree with the advertisement thing though. Nobody wants to stare at advertisements while playing. (Unless the advertisements are for other games)3. MS is just doing what they do best, using their money to get what they want. Money that they obtain from all the Xbox's breaking down. Either way if it benefits the games, I guess I don't mind MS paying people.I recently got a PS3 because it actually started coming out with some good games. I like my Xbox, but have abandoned it since PS3 has free online, and I need to pay for college.
Yea thats right their banning consoles on mass now but they obviously don't care about pirates since nothing is stopping them from playing pirated games offline and they still have their gamertag so they can just get another one for online and thats what MS wants I think MS is desperate because ps3 is selling so much better then it so they're banning a million consoles to try and increase salespolicies piss me off...but it is a company. I got banned eh
