both games were absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. Assassin's Creed 2 looks like its definitely improved upon its predecessor, and Modern Warfare 2 looks awesome. However, of these games, Modern Warfare 2 I would think is the least likely candidate, it looks like a great game but for me it doesn't bring much new that I didn't see in the first or any other war game. Can't be sure yet cause it hasn't been released, but Assassin's Creed 2 looks spectacular but despite all the new weapons, swimming, and improvements made, I think this year's battle is going to be a showdown between Batman and Uncharted 2.Both games had amazing graphics unlike anything else I've seen on the system, brilliant storylines, new and innovative gameplay mechanics. As a Batman fan I'd love to see him win, but Uncharted 2 is a tough contender to beat.

Sorry if this has already appeared in another topic, but the search has been down forever.Here's my thoughts, which of the 4 games listed:Assassin's Creed 2Batman Arkham AsylumCall Of Duty Modern Warfare 2Uncharted 2Is most likely to take the GOTY title for 2009?My opinion, its a tough one!!!All of these games look stellar, with Batman and Uncharted already on my shelf both games were absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I loved the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare and never playing uncharted or assassins creed it came down to Batman or CoDMW2 The Batman game looks fun but the whole game takes place in a single building. While CoDMW2 has a whole country to fight in.

Actually Batman Arkham Asylum takes place on an entire island with six different buildings. The area is absolutely massive with both interior and exterior environments, with each building being completely unique in their own ways. Just clearing that up. And honestly, never playing Uncharted or Assassin's Creed? You don't know what you're missing.I loved the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare and never playing uncharted or assassins creed it came down to Batman or CoDMW2 The Batman game looks fun but the whole game takes place in a single building. I feel like with all the work being put into assassins creed and all the feedback they received and responded to over at ubisoft, assassins creed 2 will culminate all that effort into a game that's undeniable breathtaking

i feel kind of kiddy saying this but i feel it is the yugioh 2009 games...they are VERY interesting and very tactical . i think yugioh shouldnt be a kids game at all , its too complicated ... but all the more fun!

Im pretty sure it will be assasins creed II, i personally have never played ACII but im pretty sure it wasreally good, because people made a really big deal out of, but they also did with CODMWII.But not many games are like ACII, where you get a mix of olden day action, parkour, and assinations.

Uncharted 2 for me. The Finest PS3 has to offer- and thats not much.A really good exclusive game with a decent story.Unlike MW2

I don't think Arkham Asylum or Modern Warfare 2 will win. It's either Uncharted 2 or Assassin's Creed 2, and I think it will be the former.

Im gonna have to go with Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 only because its so realistic, it sold so many copies when it was first released the controversy over the game will have people buying it just to see what ppl are talking about or even if its as bad as people have been saying... Over all i have to say its a great game and this coming from a guy who owns all four of these great games but CODMW2 is by far the best
