Hey try thishttp://www.dgemu.com...howtopic=450562And post if anything is unclear but youll need to downgrade yours probably.to 5.50 or 5.03.New versions come out on Dec.15.Google for 5.50 GEN-CI have a 3004 with Chickhen R2 CFW 5.03 GEN-B and I'm playing the MACH ISO I got last week No problemstruth be told i was thinking about hacking my psp too. i did a lot of research and am pretty sure that there is no way to hack a psp without a pandora battery and a magic memory stick. i did find a site that will sell you both of these items and explain the hacking process. http://pandorabatterybuys.com/ i'm pretty sure that they are legit but dont buy from them only on my word. the only problem is that it is pretty expensive to buy a hacking package.

You don't read my posts do you?I'm playing Assassins creed bloodlines without ever using a pandora battery...An ISO i downloaded from here.I have not heard of it being done without a Pandora Battery and MMS (Magic Memory Stick). Just buy a Pandora battery (cheap if you know where to look...around $10).....if you don't have a buddy with custom firmware already. And you can easily make your own MMS... Its basically a 2 step process...just the MMS and Pandora battery to hack and install custom firmware onto ANY OFW version PSP...well model 1001 that is. Then....get the latest cfw and drag it onto your memory stick and upgrade to the newest. You only need a pandora battery once...to initially hack the PSP...after that..as long as going up in cfw versions...no pandora is needed.

My bad.Sorry.Well i did add links to my sources. To put it short.1.You can use CFW on a PSP without using pandora battery method.2 It is through enabling homebrew (and maybe its CFW enabler)3.Once you enable homebrew via a HEN ,You can install CFWs like 5.50 GEN D2 and 5.03 GEN C(what i use is 5.03 GEN B)4.This method won't crash (or brick) your PSP because it doesn't affect the original Fiwmware and important files.5.When you reboot your PSP its back to its previous state.(any data created while on CFW will still be there. Not so previous state)6.And you don't have to mess with batteries and risk it.(My mom wouldn't let me.Thats why i use this method.)yes,he did,but he didn't understand what you had said.

Oh I think Ill stick to ChickHEN works great for me.Just downloaded NFSU,AC Bloodlines and Bomberman and playingg them all.google is your friend.but it really depends on what kind of psp you have, how much risk your willing to go through, etc...plus he let me use his pandora battery, so it wasn't super difficult like i thought.

If you did create a pandora out of a battery, it'd be useless except for installing cfw (or to be more specific, to switch over from official to custom) and for unbricking PSPs.And you don't have to mess with batteries and risk it.(My mom wouldn't let me.Thats why i use this method.)

I heard it didn't work on brites.Does it?How do you unbrick a brite once you've bricked it?The same way as in the pinned topic? If you did create a pandora out of a battery, it'd be useless except for installing cfw (or to be more specific, to switch over from official to custom) and for unbricking PSPs.
