Unless you sweat profusely, or work a dirty job, why would you shower every day anyway? It seems more logical to shower every other day to conserve water, and simply because showering every single day gets tedious. This everyday thing is a recent convention.

Unless you sweat profusely

- That's me to a T. Bingo. If I don't shower TWICE a day, I start smelling horribly. I don't smell as bad now thta I've cut out spicy foods from my diet, but I still sweat stupidly during summer. On conserving water: You can get a FULL shower done in less than 4 minutes. I get mine done in 1 or less. And when I was in ROTC, I had to get it done in 10 seconds (soap, scrub, clean, everything). So yes, it IS possible for one to have 2 showers a day and STILL use up less water than the average person does.Besides, the longer you're without water, the more direct and bacteria stick to you...meaning you have to take a LONGER shower the next time, if you really care about how bad you stink. Shorter Showers More Often.

Dude, I've skipped a day of showering just to get my homework done. But if the water conservation is beneficial to me, and not just getting the amount of water saved divided by the total number of people, I would do it.....No not really. Maybe take a two minute shower.

I always conserve alot of water because I take a shower every two days except for when an event is coming up.

I already do skip a day of showering..The way I shower is if I shower Monday morning I won't shower the next day unless I really really have sweated a lot or if I stink which doesn't happen often.

I feel the need to shower every day. But I do try to limit my shower time and sometimes turn the water off temporarily while in the shower if I'm shaving.

No. Hell no. I usually shower twice a day. Especially if I did anything exceptionally dirty or messy.

Hell no. I need my shower. It's a part of me. If not, I'll feel like the dirt I walk on everyday. Only times I don't shower is if it's at some ludicrous time of night like 2 AM [Though that's actually morning...] or if there's a spider in my shower. [Yes. I'm afraid of spiders... And they sometimes tend to find their way in there... ]

Ummm NO WAY! I simply have to shower at least once a day. I can't imagine myself skipping a shower.

If I didn't sweat that day and if I were too lazy, I'd possibly skip a day of showering...I prefer to shower everyday, however...

Since I don't see an impending water crisis of doom happening anytime soon, I would not skip a day of showering any time soon. And besides, in my opinion, there should be plenty of water to last for several more years, I'm tempted to say hundreds. By then I'll be dead anyways.

I only skip a day of showering when I'm too lazy to do so.Saving water is nonsense. There's plenty of that for everyone.

Sometimes.. I use that as an excuse to not take a shower. I will tell my parents that I am saving water so someone else on Earth have more water to use.. lol, but I do it once in a while because I like it when my hair is clean and washed.

Yes. As a matter of fact, my family is currently trying to lessen our bill payment, so I am already conserving water!

It depends on where you live. Canada has more fresh water than they know what to do with.
