Yea skipping a day of showering might be a good idea. on another note though, a friend and I were talking about how children born in Western society tend to have weaker immune systems, as they constantly disinfect them selves. While people overseas build it up, by occasionally getting sick from less hygiene. Just thought, it might be a good idea to switch to a two day system. maybe things will be smellier, but better health and more water is a good thing.

I shower at least once every two days. Reason being is that I have long hair, and when I wake up it always feels greasy and unpleasant. When my hair's short (pointless fact: I cut my hair once per year), I'll shower once every two days because it's no-where near as difficult to look after compared to my current amount of hair.

i might skip a day of showering in order to save money, but i'm not into all that "save the environment" hippie stuff. why? cuz i hate hippies haha. i'm not some environment damaging, carelessly littering, never recycling redneck but i hate how hippies get in others' faces bout this kinda stuff. however i am a money-hungry scrooge so i would skip a day of showering for the sake of saving scrill, but only if i didn't sweat all day and stink up the place

I usually shower everyday after I come home from school, but occasionally if I have stuff to do after school and don't have a chance to shower, I cheat a little the next day and put some baby powder into my hair. I stops it from looking oily :)

showering every day is unnecessary. i smell fine after a couple of days of not showering. but being careful to not spend too much time in the shower is adequate

I wouldn't mind skipping one shower. I've done it before, only if I'm just lazing around at home the next day.

Theres a study thats been done that showering everyday is actually really bad for your skin! It gets rid of all the good bacteria and leaves the skin irritated and vulnerable fro attack from the environment.I shower at most every other day; i don't exercise often so no sweat and i really don't get super dirty during the day so theres no point. Plus i hate having to share a shower with who knows who...:(The longest i've gone whit out a shower would probably be.....roughly a week and a half. The reason for that was because i was on a canoeing trip up the Churchill River system and the river is very...very cold so every time i got in to sud up i pretty much got out in 2 minutes so i didn't bother after a while. Hint *DO NOT GO INTO WATER AFTER SUMMER IS OVER IN THE NORTH IT WILL FREEZE YOUR TOES OFF*The best feeling in the world though is not showering for a long time and then taking a nice hot shower to i wipe away all the stresses and grime in the world....

I shower like five times a week. Some days I just don't feel like getting into the shower. I stay clean.

Me, i shower whenever i feel like it, but still no i would never give up a day of no showering. That's one of the best things in my day, after a long day to take a shower. I always feel so refreshed, who doesn't enjoy their showers?

If I have to go somewhere then I really need to take a bath. But when I'm just home and I won't go anywhere I sometimes don't take a bath. not because of saving water but I'm too lazy to take a bath.

I used to shower everyday. I found it pointless though, since I really don't get dirty. I shower every other day now, normally.

I would skip a day but not a week, a week would be way too much time to become smelly

Our water supplies are not going anywhere. For as long as we have lived on the Earth, we have had the same water. What we do with it is just filter it and clean anything else that is in with our water. However I do agree we should not shower everyday unless you need to. Being a football player pretty much counts out not showering a day for me, since i would be completely sweaty and dirty. However if I were not to have practice or such, I would try to take showers as least often as possible.
