Very Good

Really there are a LOT of good games. You can play RPG games that are not turn-based eg Castlevania games. Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin are good. I personally didn't like Order of Ecclesia. There's also the new Kingdom Hearts.Or you can play fun platform, action and adventure games like Mario. Mario's always fun. There's also the Sonic games. And who can forget Zelda games.Or you try the brain-teasing set like Brain Training and all the other brain kinda games. And then there's games like Sims and stuff. You might like, you might not.To be honest, there are a LOT of good games out there. I just can't really think of much from the top of my head. But really, there is no way you can get bored with a DS. It's way too fun. And with the number of games there are, the DS can keep you going for a lot of your lifetime. Yay to DS :)

Scibble nauts is the best game ever because you can imagine anything then right it down and then you get to use it.

short post: do not simply list which games you think are good, tell a bit more about it

I really like Big Brain Academy and Logic Island, if you like brain games. I also like the Lost in Blue Series and Phoenix Wright.

If you're into more linear games, which includes great storylines, I would recommend the 'Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice' series and 'Hotel Dusk: Room 215'. However, there are also other games that include a bit more gameplay. I would recommend 'Mario Kart', 'Super Mario Brothers', 'Warioware: Smooth Moves' and 'Rhythm Heaven'.

I am honestly addicted to the Professor Layton series. The stories are great. A seemingly supernatural mystery that always ends with a logical conclusion with addictively fun and creative puzzles. I am excited for the release of the third Professor Layton game here in Australia cause I absolutely loved Pandora's Box. And am definitely excited about the news that the Japanese are already in production on games 4 and 5 which are to be part of a prequel trilogy taking place before The Curious Village, and would love to see the release of an english dubbed version of the Professor Layton movie that came out in December for the Japanese.

Jamzemu mentioned Sims games - I havent played all of them except for Sims 2: Castaway and got really hooked. Good for ppl who enjoy adventure games as it contains lots of "go here, collect this, trade this" etc in order to get access to more tools, recipes & open up new areas.I do have to warn you that in terms of replayability, it isnt that great. Visually, the graphics looks a wee bit chunky as well.Other game that I reckon is great fun is Assassin's Creed 2: Discovery - mainly because of the stealth kill aspect. To get a rough gauge on other good games, I usually head to metacritic - collates all critic's scores from ign, gamespot, edge etc and user scores as well.

Fire Emblem: Shadow dragon if you're into turn-based/military strategy combined with RPG and anime elements. It's not the best Fire Emblem, but it's decent.

Well, if your into Fire Emblem and don't like Shadow Dragon for DS, I recommend Rondo of Swords. It's VERY similar but with a few changes in terms of game-play.

The Layton games keep me occupied for days but then once I solve them I'm done with them- don't want to play it again. If you like Puzzles try any of the layton games. Otherwise I'd say Mario games are still the best.

Zelda spirit tracks and hourglass are amazing. Final fantasy IV is one of the greatest FF to date and is a well deserved remake that any expierenced fan should go back and revisit in a fully 3d redon world with Voice over.... also Kingdom hearts made me gasp at what the DS is capable of doing. You pick up those 4 you will be putting your stylist to good use for the next month or two!

I have to say WWE raw vs Smackdown is a sweet game. I love how many different superstars there are to use, like 30. And they are not just your most obvious stars they throw in some obscure ones which helps to keep it fresh.

My favourite games of this series has to be the Ace Attorney ones, they're interesting and the characters become so lovable. I find that the DS excels in the visual novelesque games. With puzzles and an interesting story as the main source of gameplay. Some other ones are Hotel Dusk, Trace Memory, 999. I also enjoyed the Professor Layton series, but I got bored really easily after the first one. I also really enjoyed Ghost Trick.TWEWY was also an amazing game, it had unique gameplay and an interesting story. Pokemon ones are classics for sure.
