DS Lite "metallic silver" - paint or plastic?

Hey all,For those of you that own a DS Lite of the "metallic silver" color, I was wondering if the body was either painted or constructed with the silver finish? And if it's paint, does it wear off easily?Thx.

it's paint from what i see from my ds scratches :laugh:

We have a silver one also. And it seems to be paint.
