what do you prefer, ds emuator or original ds?i would prefer both because there is really nothing wrong about having a emulator in a pc because it is hard for some families to buy some and they don't have the right to take our happiness..while buying is also good enough because ds is already downloadable.. :-p

I like both, but I pefer then Original. That way I can play it in bed, in the car, waiting somewhere. Also sometimes the emulator isn't as good as the original, but that is because it's a copy. An original is always better.

The original, of course! I have an R4 card so that I can play roms on the original DS, and therefore, I have the best of both worlds in one. :) My computer is fairly retarded when it comes to being able to run games, so this is a godsend for me.

Original DS. I have not found emulators to be that good or reliable.

Original DS.When I get bored id stop playing ROMs and use its other features and wireless.Emulators make it easy through savestates and they can't yet support link.

i like the DS, but since i have two kids and they also love their DS, well i pretty much either have to wait until they are asleep or play the emulator on my computer.

I would say the original ds,cause you can play it anywhere at anytime.A ds emulator can only be played on the computer,ONLY.that is pretty bad since you won't be able to play when waiting out a black out.

Unless eventually a new handheld is powerful enough to emulate DS smoothly

I prefer regular DS because the button layout feels natural compared to an emulator on computer.

The original NDS is really better for the gameplay : if you play on a pc emulator, using the tactile screen needs the mouse, and it's really uncomfortable. Of course if the game doesn't need the stylus, you can choose the emulatorI have the NDS lite and i don't want to leave it.

I prefer actually being able to hold the game while I play it, hence the DS being a handheld devise. As for the few times I have tried my hand with an emulator, most often I would get frustrated with the lag or glitches, or become too distracted from actually playing the game.

I prefer to have the console in my hands. The emulator is good for testing out games to see if you like them or not, but its nothing on an actual ds

definitely a real ds (lite), because since it's a portable console, i'd expect to use it wherever i go, and u can't exactly do that with an emulator. :/

The real DS is by far better than an emulator. Maybe I haven't found the right emulator or just don't know how to get the functions to work, but I can't emulate a game in book form and I can't utilize any mic-based features. And as said previously, you can't exactly carry a DS emulator around in your pocket. Not to mention it's much easier to be quick and accurate with the stylus than with a mouse. The only advantage I can see for an emulator is that you can switch between games on the fly without having to deal with cartridges. But that doesn't outweight the disadvantages.
