If you where a game creator or developper, which kind of game would you like to make and work on ?Mine would be :An historical game based on medieval life in a feodal village of old Europe (2 or 3 villages with a baron master the lowest class of feodel leader).Gestion of characters (the low quantity of people in this old system autorize a gestion of each character with specialty and way of job like peasant -> vegetables, ceral or meat, etc... mining or forgery etc... and the family with union and childhood)Gestion of the castle (construction of wall, towers, reserve of food, craft, soldiers exercice efficiency and experience, patrol against ennemies and bandits and guard on the territory or in castle) and troops (raiding neighbouring territories, rapting personnalties for money, spying the power of neighbours)Gestion of commercial exchanges and travel points, taxes for the passage and over the residantsDiplomacy with foreign lands and neighbourhood and religious membershipRandom events like great diseases, national wars (give an Ost troup to your master or king, crusades), attack of savage animals or special animals (like the Gevaudan's wolf or Boar of Ardennes but no faerical creatures)Genealogy with the creation of familly The possibility of creating research that will enhance your troops combats hability (long bow etc...) enhance your production hability (glass, reffined iron etc...)The random event of discover (caves with tresures, holy objects lost on your land, and so on...)Combats would be a turn by turn and man for man like in the final fantasy serie with prisonners capture and selling or hostage authorized (by diplomatic way)This game could be played on muti generation of your familly, day by day with a long life as each session would be different. This is virtual PC plateform game but I think this could work on DS console

Wow weird that I found this post as I mentioned I would love to see the game Armada (Dreamcast) ported over some how to the DS.Armada is a asteroids type game only with an RPG element. You can level up your ship in order to get better upgrades and more hitpoints of course. As you get missions to go across the galaxies you find more planets you can land on and assist against the alien infestations going on in the galaxy. There are space stations you gotta protect, lonely freighters under attack, etc etc.Course it is multiplayer for the DC as well, unfortunately being on one screen has its limitations. But for the DS I think it would be fantastic.

If I was a game maker...My game would be an RPG,with the story kind of like this:You are a wingless angel who suddenly fights and incredibly powerful demon.Of course, you can't beat him.Once he kills you in one hit,a friend suddenly appears and teleports you to safety, while he takes on the unbeatable guy.You wake up in a strange town, meet a couple of girls who helped you out,and then you go on some crazy adventure going around beating up bad guys, killing bosses and stuff.Along the way,you meet two other people who join you on your adventure, and eventually you meet up with your old friend, who turns out to be under mind-control by someone,or something. You beat him up,and thenn you continue on your way.You meet that unbeatable guy again, you fight him and lose.Your old friend shows up again, and heals you, then weakens that guy making him beatable now.You fight him,and he dies.He suddenly revives,RANDOMLY takes one of your characters(except the angel one)and kills said person, turning himself into a final boss kind of thing. You beat him,the place starts collapsing, your friend teleports everyone to safety(The town you started out from)and uses his life energy to revive the killed party member. You celebrate, yet mourn for your dead friend. The End.Of course, this is the story in a nutshell.combat will be like Grandia:It's real-time,but the moment it's someone's turn, everything pauses so you can take your time choosing what to do.Random battles will also be here, but there's a special item that turns it off.Well that's all I can think up.

I was thinking about how my job (Engineer in a manufacturing plant) is like a video game but not nearly as much fun (who want's to work?!?!) and how many games I've played are actually very similar but not nearly as complicated. So here's the premise not in any order:Keep the production people happy to increase output Work on R&D (look at Competitors products and take ideas you like and mash them into a product) Build equipment to make productSet up assembly line to maximize product outputSet up marketing costs, advertising, marketing venuesSet price for productPurchase raw materials for product (deal with fluctuating prices)Deal with random events (equipment breakdowns, strikes, product failures, unhappy customers, etc.)Balance overhead costs, taxes, profit, investmentsDeal with product life cyclesSounds a lot like a cross between a coffee stand game I've played (can't remember the name) and Diner Dash/Cake Mania. Except more complicated with more business and real-life thrown in.

I would prefer a visual novel game based around the life of a geisha, or really anybody in a really Japanese tea house/hot springs/kimono/hakki environment. You would be able to choose to be a girl, boy, girl dressed as a boy, or boy dressed as a guy. You could fight linearly or just stick around for the relationships. Like create a massive adventure which cultivates in you revealing your true gender (if you choose the tranny option), or just a simple VN focusing on your lifestyle, like maybe if your a girl being a geisha and getting to sell your virginity and lead a debauched but sophisticated life style.
