My top 2 favorites on the NES were the 2nd and 5th game. For some reason, I got attached to Megaman V even though the game has been widely regarded as bad.

I like 1 and 2, because they are the only ones I played :waaa:More towards 1 because I finished it. 2 just has some extremely unfair jumps.

I've played them all, beaten them all... and each game holds some appeal to me.But, in the end, I have to go with Mega Man 2 as my favorite. It was the first one I played, it was the first one I beat (and what an accomplishment that was!), and it has quite possibly my favorite music in the entire series. And, of course, I can beat Air Man, anytime, anywhere, even on original (Difficult). Bring it!

My favorite always was and always will be Megaman 3. It was the first I played, and the only one my dad got majorly sucked into. I watched him play that thing for countless hours, and....well, you know how it is for little kids. You see mom or dad do something, and you wanna do it too! So I made it my mission to learn how to play the game and beat it, just like daddy. To date, I can still beat the whole game in about 45 minutes. Only Megaman game I can do that with.

I'm a fan of all 6 original games! But if I had to pick just one, it'd have to be 3 because it has the best music and the most challenging robot masters when you're going for Buster-only runs. :D

I'd have to say 2 (got it for ipod touch, auto-saving, oh yeah!), I haven't beaten any of the other games yet, though i think soon I'll be looking for them.

I like Mega Man 2 and 6 the best. 6 was actually pretty fun, and 2 is just 2.

First game. Dont get me wrong the 2nd was great! But I love the first one! It was so much fun playing it with my brother when we were young. We'd always yell at each other for not using the right weapon or not sharing the controller :(

4 and 6 were my favorites. I don't know why, but I was always really good at those too. I could get every secret item and blow through the game(s) in around an hour each. That accomplishment alone made them my favorites. Also, methinks they had the best music.

Gotta go with MM2. It was the only one I could manage to beat and it has, IMO, the best music of the series. I would love for it to appear on PSN/XBL with trophies/achievements.

I liked Mega Man 4, 5 and 6. Something about the fact of the plot being "It's not Wily!" at first really enthralled me as a kid ;)The music in 6 was rockin' though. I really like some of the remixes they did for later re-releases.
