I have to say that Ike has the most useful moves (to me at least). However I also think Solid Snake is pretty awesome as well. His moves are not easy to use but once you get the hang of them, he's a pretty fun character!

i like lucario his final smash is very powerful and you are able to aim the aura beam he throws out, metaknight and snake are also good characters too, and sonic is very good for someone who chooses speed over everything else

I prefer Ice Climbers in Melee because you can de-synch their moves, but for Brawl I think Jigglypuff is my best character. ^ ^

I have to say I'm another Diddy lover, he is more powerful than most give him credit for. Nutting people from across the field is an insanely satisfying feeling, backed up by the THWACK of the nut-gun. Other than that Dedede is my favorite powerhouse; Metaknight is by far my favorite quick guy.

i would have to say the best character for me is link, his has a versatile of moves that can be used but i also play with numerous other characters. Ike in particular is a very strong character and with his moves one can easily smash others out of the stage.

Toon Link,Luigi,Kirby,and Dedede are my best characters.Toon Link and Kirby are good jumpers,Luigi is versatile,and Dedede is quite powerful and hard to KO.Definetly my favs.

My favorite is Lucas, but probably just because I love Mother 3. I was so happy when he was announced.I also like Snake, Marth, and Mr. Game & Watch. Marth is the only one I'm any good with, though.

My favorite character is Samus, im unsure if she is the best on either Melee or Brawl, but i use her regardless, might have something to do with me loving metroid.

I like Ike for his ability to absolutely destroy large enemies...Fox for his speed+power is great for everything else.

Pit is the most over powered charecter in the game he is hard to knock out becuse he can fly and if u master the arrow looping you are unstoppable and the bow spinning move also reflects objects along with his unbreakable sheild

as much as people dont like him, Doc was my favorite. He wasn't obnoxiously slow like bowser or ganon and had a decent amount of power. his cape was awesome, but he did lack range. so he isn't the best ever. especially since many people loved to hate him.
