All right, just list your 5 favorite games, along with its genre, and why you like it/would recommend it to someone. doesn't have to be in any order, unless you want to put it in order(Yeah, sometimes there's just too many games you can't decide is better than the other. I feel for you).1. Chrono Trigger (RPG) Ahh, Chrono Trigger. One of my first RPGs, and it taught me the wonder, and enjoyment of the ATB. I am also a big fan of time travel/Paradox.2. Contact (RPG/adventure) Really amazing game. Has a fun, and interesting take on "interactivity". One of the big things that caught my attention-span was its RPG-system. You don't gain "exp" more like you develop each stat individually by constant use. I wish more games would play like this.3. Dino Crisis 2 (action/survival-horror) beautiful female character with guns, shooting Dinos?! what's not to like! Just wish the sequel could have continued off this one, and explained what the hell happened.4. Guitar Hero (rhythm) nothing like using a fake instrument peripheral to create- I'm sorry, PRETEND you're creating music. Great party game.5. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (action/ RPG) Buy swords. Hunt cattle. Harvest meat. Buy Armor. Kill big chicken-thing. Carve more meat. Buy better swords. Hunt BIGGER chicken-thing. Rinse and Repeat indefinitely. Oh man, I don't even know how many hours of my life I wasted on this game. Last I checked, I was in the 1k hour mark? Don't get me wrong, this game is LOADs of fun, and it technically never ends, unless you sell it. Just so much fun and frustration, it's GOOOD!There's my 5, lets hear yours!

Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic- I'm not a huge RPG fan, but this one was great.5. GTA: San Andreas : It is a really fun game. The missions are fun and unique, the world is very diverse, and it has a cool story to boot.

Skies of Arcadia Legends (RPG)- While it may seem cliche, it's filled with amazing characters, and a very adventurous world.Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker (Action Adventure)- Amazing cel-shading, great story, not the most challenging game, but definitely lengthy.Beyond Good and Evil (Action Adventure)- This game truly has an epic story filled with many twists. The game is pretty short and doesn't have the most complex fighting system, but the story and characters easily make up for it. Guild Wars (CORPG)- Very fun online roleplaying game. Pvp is very competitive and skilled based. Always so much to do, from quests and stroy-line missions farming and title-hunting.Star Wars KOTOR (RPG)- Awesome game set in a familiar yet very entertaing universe. Excellenet and gripping story. Lengthy and Challenging.

-Final Fantasy(Rpg) I was pretty much raised with this game(No really I was)-Kingdom hearts (rpg) I liked the comical Humour in this including the slapstick humor- Disgaea 2(rpg): The chibi graphics made it a tad cuter to play, also the various 'endings' you can get and secrets that you can unlock make it a game to keep playing.- Shadow hearts 3 (Rpg) : I played the demo at a friends house and was inmediatly hooked on the storyline ,graphics.the battle system was a little troubling at firsty though- Fatal frame 3 ( Horror survival): Even though I dislike playing these sort of games, the storyline drew me too it, I still havent finished it

1. Paper Mario: an RPG with several levels of gameplay - you can just play through without too much difficulty, or you can really immerse yourself in the game and explore it in detail. It really adds to the replay value, in my opinion - always more to do.2. Final Fantasy X: great graphics, a good plot, pacing, and game mechanics, nice character development...etc, etc. A lot of the previous games were fantastic as well, but I singled this one out because I doubt most people would have all that much patience with the instrumental-only tracks, low-quality graphics, and slightly faulty translations that a lot of the early ones have.3. Metal Gear Solid: plenty of action and drama, but with a nice amount of strategy as well. I also like that it doesn't take itself too seriously - there's plenty of odd quirks from the creator, and the plot's just interesting.4. Silent Hill 2: the Silent Hill series is just plain fantastic. Lots of replay value, especially so since there are multiple endings. I'd pick out this one in particular as it isn't dead easy, like 3, and it isn't near impossible either, like 1 or Origins. Plus, the plot for this game is pretty unique compared to the others, and there's a lot of psychological stuff that I find very interesting. ^^5. Portal: I've only ever watched someone else play this, but from what I saw it's pretty fun. It's a rather unique take on puzzle games, since you solve them in a FPS-kind of way, only you have to shoot out portals to move past obstacles and stay alive. (The cake is a lie!)

For me, it would probably be:1. Manhunt (PS2/PC) The game is just totally badass, It's fun, it's dark, and the game was never really popular, but the storyline, and the characters kick ass.2. Grand Theft Auto series (Numerous consoles) Alot of people bash the game series, and a lot of people like it. Personally, I like all the games, they are all fun, and especially the newer games, they are funny as hell.3. Super Mario World (SNES) The game is a classic SNES game, but was alot of fun, You get Yoshi, you fight the Bowser kids, and there are a ton of levels.4. DOOM series (PC) In my opinion, one of the coolest FPS games, I enjoy playing them, and they never get old.5. Resident Evil 4 (PC/PS2) The game is a big improvement from the older games, now I like Resident Evil 1,2 and 3, but this game was so much better.

1. Wonder Boy III (Sega Master System). Just the ultimatum of my childhood.2. Almost every Final Fantasy. I love trancing and tantalising storylines and the unique systems that Square Enix seem to develop that other RPGs seem to share. Almost means that either I never played some or some are just completely missing the mark.3. Rockman/Megaman X4. (PSX) Perhaps my favourite title on the PSX, which I can repetitively play without fail.4. Call of Duty Series. Just brilliant video game acceptable replication of WWII and later the Modern Warfare characteristics. Most explosive online gaming I have ever encountered.5. Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (GBA). Love it. Strategy ultimatum. One GBA, only one game. This is it.

My favourite series woulf of course be Legend of Zelda. It's a long time classic and has always been brilliant, besides the (Ugh) CD-I.Secondly is Golden Sun and Golden Sun Lost Age. They've got wonderful graphics for GBA. They've got a innovative system in the Djinni because there are just so many combinations to choose from. The music and the depth of the story is just so good that I can't describe.Third is the Boktai series. The idea of playing in the sunlight was so creative although it hampered the playability a bit. The puzzles are quite nice and I liked the stealth factor.Fourth is Rhythm Heaven/Paradise/Tengoku Gold. It's fun and silly at the same time. All of the games are different and I love them all.Fifth is the Touhou (Danmaku-type) series. It's very active with different playing styles because there are usually more than 1 characters. The music is brilliant and the characters each have their own quirks.
