What game gives you the most nostalgia after going back to play it after several years of it collecting dust?

As much as I love the Mario series, and for as much as I was basically raised on that game, I tend to get the most nostalgic over Mega Man 3 for the oldschool NES. I don't even know why that one affects me as much as it does....it just does.

Pokemon Yellow and Diamond! Whenever I don't play it for a long time ang then go back to playing it, I always start thinking about all the training I went through and all the friends I made through WiFi chat. Cherished memories will never be forgotten after all.

Final Fantasy VIII... I can remember so much about when I was playing it. It was the Summer before I left for the Army, just after prom... the whole sha'bang. I used to play it with the volume down and my stereo up, so even certain songs on the radio remind me of the game. Good times.

It's a tie for me, I just can't pick. There's Final Fantasy VII which has one of the most memorable scenes in RPG history. Most RPG fans will know what this scene is. It really had a huge emotional impact on me, since I never expected that to happen. Then there's the first Mario RPG, the one with the legend of the shooting stars. It was my first RPG ever, and it had this unique fighting system. It was the thing that made me fall in love with RPGs.

Warcraft 2 and Warlords 2 are games I loved growing up, but I still hold a special place in my heart for "Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?"

Out of all the games I've played, I would have to say Final Fantasy VIII. It was the first Final Fantasy game I've ever played and ever since then, I've been hooked on the series. Whenever I see Squall is other games, such as Kingdom Hearts or Dissidia, I always get hit with nostalgia. :P

As silly as it sounds, I guess Pokemon Sapphire. It was the first video game that I actually committed to finishing. I enjoy completing the Pokedex and evolving the Pokemon. I still have my original save file and refuse to let anyone touch it but me.

I think mine would be Kingdom hearts 2 because I played it all the time while at my cousins house and it was totally awesome.

Hmm, even though FFVII was my favorite growing up, I'd have to say Legend of the Mystic Ninja for snes. So many fond memories of playing it with my kid brother on an old school wood paneled t.v. because my parents wouln't let us use the good t.v. lol

Goldeneye for the N64. Playing it at my friend's house was what lead me to love the shooter genre. Halo 1 was pretty awesome too.Overall though, I would have to say Fire Emblem. That game is so freaking tough and I get so invested in certain characters that I refuse to let them die.

Ragnarok Online!! Been playing it since 13 years old, and then quitted and continue back for tons of times. Lol. It's because of that game that i entered the world of the internet. And met a friend, who is now my closest best friend. And gotta thank that game too because of it, i love christmas. I'm from South East Asia so there's no snow here or anything very grand when it comes to christmas, but being in RO it gives me the joy of experiencing christmas. Lol. Please don't say i'm weird ><

Tough choice...I'm stuck between the origional pokemon for gameboy and zelda: Ocarina of Time. I guess I remember completely ignoring everybody in the world because I was trying to catch all the pokemon and it was pretty awesome. At the same time Zelda was WAY ahead of it's time. So I don't know. Anyone want to help me decide?

Final Fantasy X holds the most memories for me since it is the first game I bought with my own money. I also only played it on weekends so I had a lot of time during school to daydream about the plot and finishing it.
