Worst part: when ur car is stuck in the snow because the car is small and the snow is 3 feet deep.It makes everyone LATE for EVERYTHING!

I always hated shoveling snow, but living in an apartment negates that need at least. But, growing up, I used to love winter (regardless of whether or not we got a snow day off from school - which we rarely did).But, since I've had to drive through snow to go to work and come home from work, that has far surpassed shoveling snow as my least favorite thing about winter. I still like winter to some extent (it is hockey season, after all), but the daily grind is tough enough without having to take two hours to make what should be, on a good day, no more than a half-hour commute!

Shoveling for the most part. I pretty much have to do it every time it snows here, and it snows a LOT here sometimes, given the amount of Nor'easters (dunno how to spell it) that hit here.That and the cold. I'm a warm weather guy, I'll take a 100F Summer day at any time over 15F winter days.EDIT: Below poster makes a good point. I hate wind too, but usually when it's in tandem with cold. I don't hate winter, as long as it's not too cold, and I don't mind the snow itself.

I don't like the cold, so good thing there's rarely any snow here where I'm at ;)The wind tends to be pretty bitter though. I reeeally don't like the wind...

I'd say how dry it is. It can get irritating on your skin when it gets pretty dry in the winter.

Me ? I like the cold temperatures refreashing. However i agree that driving/waiting for car to warm up sucks.Oh icy patches on the sidewalks are anoying too

My least fav part of winter is cold, wet, days. we live far enough south (U.S.) that we rarely have snow or ice, but cold and rain is miserable.

I don't get snow where I live, but the worst is the increased risk of catching colds...I sometimes enjoy the fact that is it cooler than summer, because it's much easier to sleep at night

I don't park in the garage, so the worst part for me is having to scrape the ice off my windows every morning. I love the snow and I relish the colder temperatures, but I cannot stand the ice on my windows.

When it snows here, I don't mind the snow, but if it gets real bad, then I can't drive. That takes away A LOT of freedom not being able to do or go anywhere.
