Invisibility would be very useful in so many ways.

I fail to see what the big idea is with being invisible really is. I think a majority of people who want invisibility just want to peep on women in the shower Though i can't say i haven't thought that before >.> My point is. Being invisible would get boring fast, not saying flying is any better, but i personally wouldn't want to be invisible if it meant pulling off a few childish pranks. Isn't supposed to be a power earned, you know for good deeds. I could never see myself only having power to have fun and foolishly waste it.

Personally I'd choose neither of the powers as I'd enjoy Shapeshifting as my power of choice. However, since I've been asked this question before between these two powers specifically for someone's psychology class, if I recall I chose flying as invisibility had reason to backfire.
By backfire, I mean invisibility can be limited to just me in general instead of including my clothing so I would have to run around naked everywhere, and I couldn't even abuse the power efficiently to steal or anything. Maybe play a few pranks or peep on people but quite frankly those wouldn't probably get boring rather fast. If for some reason the invisibility would create a contact invisibility as well, that would cause problems of its own but would allow me to be a thief. The problems of that would be people you touch, the ground you touch, et cetera.
I chose flying not to actually fly in the sky as I would probably freeze, not to mention have reduced oxygen or however that worked as I've forgotten for the moment. I chose flying to allow me to preform acrobatics with more ease and also to hover around everywhere. I'm sure I could also use it to get over some small buildings as well to shorten distances when running or something.

I would definitely be scared of flying because there is a high risk of getting lost. I would prefer invisibility because even if it is limited, at least it would be more useful on a escape or something (in my opinion).

Pros of flying: i could set the world record for climbing Mt. Everest
Cons of flying: if I was to fall asleep, as consciousness would be required to maintain height, I would smash into pieces so small they might not even be full atoms.
Pros of invisibility: Paintball would be a lot easier
Cons of invisibility: I would have a lot of s**ual offences against me

I don't believe any of the powers pros outrank the cons, but if I am required to choose one, my choice would be the power of invisibility.
