Yeah, I think that two touch screens would make it harder. Although, if it's something like the game screen on the bottom and an interactive map on the top, I don't think that would be bad >.< trying to play the full game on both screens would be a pain though. For two player games, however, it would be silly. For Battleship you'd be able to see each others screens >.< Sticking with two DS's for multiplayer games is best :)

YES two screens would be nice, though I'm not sure how it would be possible to play without hitting the top screen back during intense gaming lol.

That would be too complicated. Because then your attention is divided into trying to touch one thing, but accidentally go for another. Also for those who space out easily (like me) or others who have short attention spans, that would prove to be too frustrating to try to follow along.

Truthfully, I hate the one touch screen the DS has..I kind of wish they never would have done it.

Honestly, handheld games will come to an end. It's only a matter of time before Apple does something no one can top.

Yeah, it would probably be a lot easier to scratch up the top screen (considering I'd probably forget that it's touch-sensitive, being so used to the one touchscreen model) and I really don't have the money to muck something up like that. Plus, the screens are too tiny to do anything really cool, like multiplayer games. I mean, how would you hold it like that?

No. That would be very annoying, extremely annoying and who knows the limitless amounts of mistake people could make because the double touch screen is too complicated for them. It would cost a lot of money as well, I think it's better to just stick to the original.

No, I don't think this should happen. It would make the games more complicated, and we might accidentally touch the wrong screen, which may create some undesirable effects in the game.

It would make games a lot more complicated. To be honest, it would probably drive me crazy because I am a little bit OCD. I absolutely hate finger prints on anything and am constantly cleaning all of my electronics.

Nah. I think thats a bit much. You don't really need two touch screens. Then you'd have to go back and forth between the two of them. It would be too much

I feel it is better to keep one screen for touch and the other for viewing. It won't be that nice with dual touch screens.

Don't really think that would be a good idea. Wouldn't it make the lid extra bulky?

I see no point at all to have both touch, unless you can do a two player thing. But even then, it's just troublesome.

The pixels on a touch screen are too poor, gaming would suck with 2 ds-3ds touch screens. To be honest while gaming i rarely ever use the touchscreen and play using buttons only. Apart from now, as i type from my 3ds! XD

I think, if we can touch both screens, we can more various usage. But then we say this,"Why 2 displays?" maybe.

i could certainly see some interesting uses for a duel touch screen layout. better map and inventory management with it being on the fly instead of pausing the game perhaps? but sadly i don't see companies being that innovative, so the chances of the idea actually working are probably pretty slim XP

That would make things way too complicated. I'm having hard enough time focusing on both screens already.

I'm afraid if Nintendo were to implement this, they would simply go over-board and force the player to neglect all of the physical buttons, which wouldn't be a problem but it would be hard to see whats going on with the game with 5 of your fingers on the screen needed to control it, a great idea in theory but the screens would have to become larger. :)

It would be kinda hard to play games like that. More complex and stuff, but it could work

Both screens being touchscreens does seem to have some potential, but it seems rather complicated and somewhat redundant as well. I probably wouldn't go for it unless I was shown an example where it was put to very good use.
