I agree with you on the FFVII music, and in all FF games in general, they have greate tunes, master pieces that have been played by orchestras and stuff... really niceanyway, I really like the music of Ragnarok Online, that it's more like... ambient music? i don't know, but it's really nice... my favorite song must be the morroc song team... my natal city

There are a score of good music from a lot of games, but my favorite would be the chrono series.

Final Fantasy games tend to have good music...But my favorite right now is Dragon Quest VIII. It's completely Orchestrated.

Usually anything from square enix has awesome music but my personal favorite are the kingdom hearts series. There tunes are so damn catchy. Especially hollow bastion

hmm... the theme song for zero in megaman zero and the theme in all mmbn is all good, i played ff7 to the part where cloud meets aerith before the disk broke so i really dont know the rest of the song lol

I think the best muzic can be found in the game - 'Tactics Ogre - The Knight of Lodis'.... i cant forget its muzic and i love it.

Soul Edge, with no doubt...I watch the opening of the game and was gotten passionate for the music, as much that already I have it in MP3

I find RPG's have fantastic music (Golden Sun, Soul Calibur, Zelda), but Tony Hawks generally has good music as well.

For me, it would have to be Final Fantasy 9. It has like a rockish background sfx when you go to the part where zidane will fight alone and his friends help him in terra.

I think the game with the best music is Donkey Konga 1 and 2. Mainly because the songs on that are real songs that I actually listen to.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the music from the Final Fantasy series. FFXII and FFVII in particular had some really good songs, like Aerith's theme from FFVII and the theme that plays when you're in Balfonheim in FFXII (I don't know what the name of the song is, but those off-beats from the violins are absolutley ridiculous). In my opinion, the orchestral music and other compositions from Final Fantasy are really good. Not only the compositions, but the orchestras and stuff like that are very good (but I guess they have to be professionals, anyway).I'm an orchestra nerd, so obviously I'm really liking the Final Fantasy music :p

I've really become a fan of Guilty Gear music lately, but I do like .hack// music from both game series. Yuki Kajiura has an interesting style, but I didn't like her stuff in Xenosaga as much.

The Wind Waker has some great music, and Kingdom Hearts 2 also has some extremely memerable tunes. But what rose to the top for me was Twilight Princess. When you have to wrangle Epona, the music in the background was phenominal.

I've always loved Sonic The Hedgehog's music. I could easily hum every tune from every zone in any order. It really sticks with me and my favorite piece is Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3.I've also loved the Bust A Groove series and own the Japanese soundtracks to both games (not counting Dance Summit 2001).Currently though, I'm deep into Dance Dance Revolution. I LOOVE that music. Each game features a huge list of just about any sound or style which makes for a great selection. Plus, each track is only a minute and a half long so they never wear out their welcome. I own about 4 Japanese soundtracks and still have more than 100 tracks downloaded on my computer.
