Yep, definitely FFVII! There are others, but I am lazy and FFVII is by far the first that I always think of.

I like Need For Speed Underground 2 soundtrack (Unwritten Law, Rise Against...), i also like FF musics.

tales of phantasia has good music...but my all time fav has to be the final fantasy series...new or old, the music is nice...oh and halo too...cool accompaniment...oh and shouldn't this be in the multemedia section? hee...well, i dunno...

Hmmm,You know, it might sound funny in the days of CD quality soundtracks to video games. Shoot, symphonies and such are the scores to modern games. Still, Secret of Mana's midi soundtrack is the best in my humble opinion.So, um, that's it,treeofmanaPS: Hello from a new member!

it really depends what kinda music i feel like listening to. Though the midi's were classic they're not always the best imo.one of the best soundtracks i've heard in a game is Persona 3, i just love the music that plays everywhere. Also, the music in Phoenix Wright, the first game and the third were awesome, but not so much the second.

most probably madden games becoz its actual music but if i must decide i would lean towards final fantasy 7 or final fantasy 10s starting blitzball theme otherworld

I would say that final fantasy nine, but I agree with you, all final fantasies have great music, including final fantasy eight, hich is very sweet

Music really doesnt matter much for video games, exept that it needs to suit the game entirely, like rock based music for action games... so on

Man, I will tell you what the best videogame music is :PWhat you think about the MGS series?Sure, there's many great music for all those games and such, but with MGS it got REALLY good. Not just the in-game musics during the gameplay sound good and fitting, it's also those scenes which just make a person feel some thrills down his spine. Truly cinematic.MGS1's music was GREAT.MGS2's music was GREAT.MGS3's music was GREAT/GOOD.Usually don't get that much emotionally affected by music anymore, but if it's really good music describing a scene, and it's in combination with this proper scene, oh ****, baby... MGS1 and MGS2 are the bomb and ****.
