I have the real cartridge of Pokemon Silver and I really value that save. So is there any way of backing it up before the save game is gone?

Oooo, I'm not sure about this one. I know you can dump the cartridge to retrieve the ROM, but I have no idea what sort of affect that has on a saved game, since the .SAV file is separate from the ROM itself. I'm gonna say no, it can't be done. But I'd get a second opinion on that.

I am sure you could use the same hardware to dump to ROM and the RAM.I know gameshark let you take "Snapshots" and save then to your computer (It came with a Parallel cable the went in the link cable slot). But the snapshots didn't save the Pokemon in Bill's PC.I am actually looking for a device to dump ROMs and dump/write SRAM.

Hm, I'm not sure on this one either. You CAN dump the ROM, but the save file isn't in the same place as the ROM (at least I think), so, I'm going to say no, unless you find a device that can dump the cart BATTERY (if such a thing exists or if what anything I just said is true).
