What is your Favorite Fire Emblem class and why? Remember do not use short answers or else a GP deduction will occur. I would say that my favorite class is the Assassin class. All of the healer classes are a close second though. Priests, Bishops, Clerics, etc. may be weak and/or can not use a weapon, but they are very vital to Fire Emblem. They are important if you want your front-line units survive. Paladins, Generals, and Swordmasters are great, but who wants them dead? I think the healers should be granted more credit for what they do. They are just like the medics saving marine fighters' lives. The Assassin class is my favorite class! Strong, lethal, speed, skill, and critical hits are key to this class! They are as strong as Swordmasters (if not stronger), but they come with the ability that thieves do. They may not have as much defence growth, but they will dodge it all anyway. The name "Assassin" its self sounds deadly.

I liked assasins but my favorite class has to be the swordmaster! They have a good attack power, a LOT critical ratio chance and those crazy moves they do, make me love them!

I Love GBA swordmasters and Assassins for their Criticals, Trueblade to further my love of Swordmasters. But Overall I love the Lords. To see them achieve power greater than normal units could ever hope to achieve is awesome, especially Ike who became a Lord and Vangaurd...BEAST.

I think magic should be mentioned as well. I like to use Sages and Druids for their versitality. Though they may not have the capacity for criticals like Swordmasters or Assassins, they have pretty good stats in general and are hard to knock out (unless a critical gets them).Usually, I'll team up a strong magic user with a high speed character (Assassin or Swordmaster) and a high defense character (General, Great Knight, Paladin).Hmm, makes me miss Sacred Stones...

I would have to say swordsmasters for their high attack points. But assassins are just badass with their title alone.

I liked all the GBA Fire Emblem classes. Why is it so hard for me to just choose one? Fire Emblem has it so each class comes along with a unique character with their own look/story. Also, all the sprites are well animated and drawn that it's hard for me not to just be dazzled by them all. Love the critical hit animations.

Yeah, the critical animations on almost all classes are awesome. Especially the swordmaster's, but thats because they specialize in criticals. :)

Out of all the classes in fire emblem i would have to say marksmen class is my favorite because bows do equal damage to everyone (no need to worry about the triangle), they can attack three spaces away without worry of counter attacks and with the double bow they can even attack and counter from up close + Shinon ROCKS!!!!

Aside from Lords and the "level 3" classes from Radiant Dawn (trueblade, vanguard, all those), I'd have to say Hero. I haven't played a single Fire Emblem game where they don't kick ass. Raven from FE7, Gerik from FE8, Greil from FE9, Ogma from FE1, all the heroes (especially the ones that were mercenaries before the class change) just own. High strength, high speed and avoid, coupled with high skill and average to slightly high defenses, and you've got one mean killer. That and the fact that they use axes and swords, the perfect combination of raw power with speed and precision.

I prefer the swordmaster over all other classes. Swordmasters have high attack power, and I love swordplay, so it's a gimme. :wtf:

Wyvern Rider/Knight/Captain/whatever the highest was. Quick strikes are the name of the game in FE, and the speed that wyverns close distances was too good to pass up. Once they get their upped weapon classes its simple to spend 1 turn neutering enemy forces with a quick air strike. Since air units were the only cavalry I ever used, it was especially helpful for me to clear out problem units early on so the swordsmen/mages/heros could come in and sweep up.

My favorite class would have to be swordmaster because they can dodge anything and can deal good damage too.

Pegasus knight, mobility is the deal breaker here. Specifically Florina in ff 7, I used boots on her and she was a rampaging machine. She ferried, she killed, she destroyed armies, salted the earth and feasted on the lamentations of the enemy's women.

It would either be swordmaster or hero. Both of them are just awesome.

I think I would have to go with the summoner. Even though the phantom you summon is fairly weak, it does distract the enemy into attacking a nonimportant character as aposed to potentially killing one of your group.

well i would have to say myrmidon. because the very first one, Navarre (Nabarl), was my favorite character out of all the cast. that is why in any fire emblem game i play, i almost always bring a sword master to the final battle

Strangely enough, I like Armor Knights/Generals the best, with Clerics/BishopsWar Clerics and Troubadours/Valkyries coming in second. Pegasus knights also usually become very formidable, so I always train at least 1 or 2.
