The Japanese magazine Shonen Jump has just revealed the first images of a new game based (again) on the series Dragonball Z. The new action 3d game will be entitled Dragonball Z: Sparking and will have 40 characters. Dragonball Z Sparking will offer more freedom than Dragonball Z Budokai. The release of the game is announced for 2005 in Japan for Playstation 2. this is the first game that Bandai has made since they took over from Atari and I must say that they are showing great potential.The name is different for us the Japanese name is Sparking but ours is Budokai Tenkaichi.

I remember when people used to say that Bandai's DBZ games were crap... Now we have stuff like Atari's Sagas and Bandai's stuiff suddenly seems so good.Conclusion, we'll never get the perfect DBZ game.

Dude, Sparking is the song of the first Japanese oppening of DBZ and hence it fist just fine.

judging from pictures it looks good but i really do hope they dotn make another after this cus they made an awfull lot of dbz games they just gonna push thier lucks after this

whoa a new dbz game cool! but doesn't budakai 3 cover all of dbz/gt so is this the same as B3 swith better graphics but it looks 2Dish. but still i'll buy it when it comes out!

Its only a preview so far, they are not going to release the names of 40 characters after they released pictures of the game less then a week ago. Thats not orange, thats red. His name is Janemba.The site will be opened May 6th.

i no longer like dbz games there just long i've got all 3 for ps2 and wish i didnt so i dont think ill be buying this one any time soon

yeah cuz maybe sumbody wants to buy budokai 3 first but now they think na i should wait for dbz sparking right?that kinda sucks but dbz isnt a good fighing game (atleast till now)hope its gonna b better this time

Dude, we might never see this game over here. Those guys at Funimation are cheap bastards and probably are not planning to bring this game (which I hope is going to be MUCH better than any American DBZ game). We all know those guys like to milk DBZ as much as possible, so it's more probable that we'll a see a second cheaply made Sagas than this game.

this game looks pretty cool, look at those camera angles!! what would be cool like if you block a ki blast it should be like slo-mo like in the matrix.

They have made a DBZ RPG, its called Dragonball Z: Sagas and it sucks. It sucked so bad that it was an American only release, they didn't want to waste money shipping a crap game overseas. Its on PS2, Xbox and NGC.---On topic---That release date isn't an Amercian date, its the Japanese date. Since its a Japanese company making & releasing it.
