This game is supposed to have aroun sixty characters according to ign, including all of the ginyu force and more movie characters.

i loved all the budokais, except for the board of budokai 2. the rest of them were utter awesomeness. and as for budokai 3, i dont think there was anything i didnt like about it. But to get back on topic, this one looks awesome. if im not mistaken, i remember something about sparking coming out only in Japan, and that we wouldnt get it at all. But instead,, that we would get a different game call Budokai Tenkaichi. Now im just pretty much confused. But either way, this game looks awesome.

So far from what I've seen and heard this game has it's ups and downs...First off... The fact that there are over 60 playable characters is AMAZING!!! That alone is good... Also, the fact that you can go anywhere in the world during a battle (air, ground, and even underwater!!!). Not only that... they made almost everything in the battleground destructable! That's high-quality DBZ action right there.There's been a few things that have been bugging me though... I've heard rumors that you can't actually transform during a battle (you can't transform Goku to SS4 during a battle... you have to select SS4 in a menu) but hopefully that's all they are... rumors. Also, the battle engine looks a bit... ... ... well... let's just say it's not up to par with current Budokai titles. Of course that is just my personal opinion and with any luck they may tweek the battle system for us in the U.S. release.The Budokai series has done nothing but impress me as they keep coming so hopefully this release will be even better than the last!

Budokai Tenkaichi will either be the greatest installation to the Budokai series...or just another DBZ: Taiketsu (worthless)..But I'm sure they won't let those of you hardcore fans down with such an interactive environment and tons of DB, Z, GT characters as well as those movie entities...

I'm really looking forward to this game. I thought the other Budokais were awesome and got better with each game. this is the first I've heard of not being able to transform in a fight, if that's the case that would seriously suck. also I'm not sure if I like what I've seen of the battle screen, and split screen for two players, but it is definately coming to US cuz I watched an interview with one of the creators, so we will get it. But on the positive side too, the fact that nearly everything is destructable and you can pretty much go anywhere is cool and also I read that through the course of the fight that the appearance of the character changes too, like clothes get ripped after a heavy attack or something, so it definately sounds like it's worth checking out, I just hope that it's as good as the last Budokai games.

i have found out as much as i can about this game over the last couple of days and i have found out some good and bad thing about it first some of the good there will be ove a littel over 50 charecters and 90 including transformations some of the charecters the giant ape choutsu bojack janemba super 17 and much more as for the fighting there r 11 fully 3D stages to choose from and they r nearly copleatly distructable there is a what if mode where u can do things that neva happened in the sieries like u can stop frieza from destroying the sayin home planet in the story mode there r 17 or 18 battel gates and 140 battels so each battel gate has a different number of battels in it thers is evolution z mode where u can customize a charecter each charecter has 10 stats to incriese and each one can go up to level ten and u can fuse items togeter so u can fuse a +1 health and +2 health to make a +3 health there is also a mode where u fight 100 of the other charecters to increse ur ranking now for some bad points this one is a real letdown u cant transform u select the charecter in their transformed state and their still is an invisible wall but its not like they can make the stage endless there a quite a few charecters they didnt put in shuch as omega shenron but u can import charecters from budokai 3 after u unlock the password feture but that is only for the passwords from B3 so there r some good and bad points now for the gameplay in the fight u have a map so u can find ur opponent u can find powerups when u destroy objects different charecters will have stronger stats than others so hercule wont realy be able to do much damage to goku super sayin 4 and choutsu cant really do much damage to the giant ape but he will be faster so the ape will be stonger but choutsu will faster and since he is smaller will ba able to hide and gather engergy to proform special attacks for healt and energy there is one bar fo each health on top and energy on the bottom and there is one more bar well it not a bar its 3 balls that will recharge as the battle progresses these r used to do special attcks each charecter will have three special attacks the weakest useing 1 ball and the strongest useing 3 ill let u find out the rest for urself hope this clears up most of ur questions

i think this is gona be a good game minus the fact tht u cant go into a super form whilst in battle but there r a ton of new stuff to do like a "what if mode" where u see things like stopin freeza from destroyin planet vegeta and u can be a giant ape and fight with them,anyways i think this gona be alot betta than dragonball z sagaz which only goes up to the cell saga by the way if anyone wanted to know. and u also might want know tht dragonball z sagaz and budokai sparking/tenkaichi r both bein made by different companies u can find out alot of stuff about these upcomin games on www.ign.com

IGN has the crappy videos. Im kind of disappointed about the size of the smaller Oozaru. Has anyone seen that video with Super17 vs. Ozaru? Super 17 is about half his size. Its not just camera angles either.
