Henry Hatsworth in The Puzzling AdventureGenre: Platformer & PuzzlePremise: 9/10Gameplay: 9/10Visual: 8.5/10Audio: 8/10Appeal: 10/10Overall (8.9/10)Surprisingly, mixing in standard platforming action and standard match-3 puzzles makes for something fantastic. So, half arsed review:Premise:You are Henry Hatsworth, explorer and gentleman extraodinaire. There's something about Puzzle realm and clothing, but I forget. Basically, On the top screen you have a platformer game, and every now and then switch to the bottom screen for a match-3/Planet Puzzle League sort of game. Matching blocks boosts your health and power, and defeated enemies fall to the bottom screen as blocks. Marks for trying something new with fusing two different genres...Gameplay: 9/10... And more marks for pulling it off. Each screen affects the other, and although sometimes it can feel like the puzzle element in the game is forcing itself on you, one manages to learn to effectively distribute their time between the two, although the constant swapping can make you feel like gameplay flow has been disrupted. The Platforming is pretty standard stuff; shoot enemies or hit them with your cane, make calculated jumps, time certain attacks, nothing particularly genre breaking there. You learn boss patterns and find out what the appropriate counter is, although it may take a few tries. Oh, and when you do well enough in the Puzzle Realm, you get to rampage around the top screen in a robot suit. Where you punch and kick and rocket any enemies into oblivion. This is letting you be overpowered done right; It's a reward for performing well, but it's not easy to get, the robot suit duration is short leaving you wanting more, but long enough for you to wreck serious havoc and be satisfied with the damage you did. It's fun, to say the least.Visual: 8.5/10Sprites. Appropriate, functional, simple.Audio: 8/10Alright, yeah. There's nothing too lo-fi or grating that'll make your ears bleed, but there's nothing really outstanding either. It's very appropriate though. When you're inexplicably sealed in a room with a continuous stream of enemies, the music get, uh, panicky, and going about in that robot suit starts a rock melody.Appeal: 10/10A new IP, unique gameplay, and it's fun. Jolly good.

Yes you do! I haven't gotten around to writing a proper review yet (I try to wait until I've either finished or nearly finished the game before doing so) but I can tell you, it's one of my FAVORITES for the DS. I was expecting it to be really overhyped and bland, but no! This game is excellent.
