My most awkward position was when my two best friends were dating and then they broke up.Neither of them ever really talked to each other or made up, so it was really awkward to be in the middle.

My most awkward position was when two of my friends got into a fight because of a misconception of words.I decided to fool around and take one side, then switch sides when I feel like it. :)

I could tell you, but you'd probably never believe me. X-D It's pretty out there, I have to admit. It'd probably take the wind out of the sails of anything else that'll be posted here though. (And I have several situations that would work.)- Back when I used to be on the webmaster team for Pete Townshend's website (yes, I do mean that Pete Townshend), there were a lot of late night phonecalls. It'd either be late for me because England is 8 hours ahead of us in Cali, or it'd be late for him to try and make a call during daylight hours for me. My dad got all weird and paranoid that there was something more going on there because of it (there honestly wasn't), and so did Pete's girlfriend. Then, to top it off, there was that whole kiddie porn allegation thing against him, which made both of them convinced there HAD to be stuff going on, because I was only 17 when I started working for him. :) I eventually backed out. - I've been best friends with Lorna Luft's daughter since I was 12 years old. Now, she's dating my brother and they have a daughter together. - Ended up being the go-between between two gay guy friends who used to be an item, then split, and one of them ended up with a woman several months down the road. The other guy got every different shade of pissed off over this, wouldn't speak to him directly, but kept having me deliver messages to him. Because of that, the other guy felt he was being petty and stupid, yet wouldn't speak to him directly either. ....I ended up the go-between on that end too. It's been going on since October. :(

I would say the most awkward position I had was when my friends started fighting and they split into two groups and I was trying to remain neutral. Every time I was talking to someone who was in the fight, all they did was to speak bad of others. Got to the point that once I asked them (yell) to not talk of the others, or anything having to do with the fight. This fight lasted a year.

My awkward position, listening to my own friends talked badly about a really good friend of mine and then having them wait for an answer from me about it.Not a fun place to be... :D

I think it was when I was a bit short on money and went to pay for my food, when I didn't have enough money. Just rushed out and never returned to that store again

The most awkward position I have been in is when my two best friends started to date each other, and they were not suited well for each other, so the entire time i got to hear each friend complaining about the other continuously.

I have been in quite a few awkward positions too...Once, a really good friend of mine came to me saying he needed a place to stay for a few days. His parents had found out he was gay and told him to never go back to their house. But the BIG problem was that my parents HATE homos. I told him I could take him in for a week only. After all, I live with my parents too. Now, the challenge what to give a reason why he was staying over for so long without saying he was gay (oh and by the way, my parents don't like me having friends who are guys too). It was awful.Hope you understood what I tried to say even though my english is poor ><

Talking bad about a teacher... They came up behind us while we was talking about them, classic film set-up. Its so awkward because you know they are upset... I never really knew teachers had feelings till then... They wernt human before lol. :D
