I tend to knit when I can't sleep. All the counting makes me very sleepy very fast. Not so great when I wake up and realise I've made a load of mistakes though. Still, would rather get some sleep and have to redo in the morning than lie awake for hours staring at the ceiling.

if you have a problem falling asleep, go and take melatonin. it helps you become tired and easily fall asleep at night. you can find it almost any place that sells drugs, like CVS Pharmacy, Whole Foods, Target, etc. i use it and it works really well on me. before taking melatonin, you should ask your doctor first if melatonin is right for you (yes, just like those commercials on over the counter drugs). melatonin is an over the counter drug, so you dont need a prescription. it can be found as a pill, tablet, or a liquid spray (i prefer the pill or tablet, the liquid spray doesnt work very well on me).other than that, i usually listen to my ipod until the melatonin kicks in and i fall asleep.

Nothing really. I just lay there thinking about things until sleep takes over... which happens often on warm nights. Usually reading puts me to sleep but I'm too lazy to get up and read, so I just don't do much but try to find a comfortable position to sleep in.

Music usually helps, but I just let my mind wander and I find myself dozing off.

i never can't sleep because i always look forward to getting in my Queen sized comfortable bed, i think its the bed really i use to have an older smaller less comfortable bed it was much harder to fall asleep then, but i would just close my eyes and think about stuff, nothing stressful of course.
