On Xbox live It's a great co-op and maybe too linear but theres something missing and i can't quite put my finger on it.

Honestly I reckon that there's nothing missing from the game. I thought the story was simple enough and easy enough to follow that it allowed for a lot more exploration of everything the game had to offer, with massive areas, complete free roam allowing you to do the missions only when you wanted to.The only thing I do have to say though, is that the developers should've made a better distinction between single player and online multiplayer, and what I mean by that is that whenever I went online with one of my characters that I had only just started with and was around level 10, joining a game with a bunch of level 20s would update my mission list to have missions that weren't available to me.As an example, i recently started over, and during my time in the arid badlands I played an online game with some guys who were up to new haven. When I went back to my single player game i had a full mission list with all the missions up to killing krom which resulted in the "Is TK Ok? mission being added to my list. I did however rather funny completing missions for TK and then being able to go inside his now open house and see him hanging from the ceiling fan at the same time that he was sitting outside talking to me.I think the developers simply need to add a code that while you can gain experience and items from multiplayer, your single and multiplayer mission lists should remain separate in order to maintain a linear flow of the story. It would be odd being able to kill krom before even killing nine toes simply because the missions that allow you to reach krom and open those areas are already available to you (and yes, I was able to do this). It doesn't "break" the game in anyway it just really screws with your single player experience having missions available that shouldn't be available at that point in time.

You know, that's hard to say. The developers felt it was "complete" so they released it (that or they had to meet a due date). But since they've been adding DLC, you can see Borderlands could always use more missions, weapons, and enemies. They should add another character or two. That'd be cool too.

Yeah it is dull after playing a few hours. What the game needs is to have an emphasis on main character development and more personal interaction from supporting characters. Hell, even an atmosphere among the wild life would be good. Just compare this game to Red Dead Redemption and you'll see what I mean. Too many games lack that breathing environment which is the charisma it needs.

I loved the gameplay and the different styles that the characters used. However, I do agree that the storyline was quite boring.

I think Borderlands was really well done other than the minimal diversity between characters and the lower quality graphics. the story want overly complicated and the gun types were very diverse within the realm of inventing crazy strange guns. the only thing they didnt really have was a melee weapon class.

I think the game needed more PvP, or more stuff like Mad Moxxi's DLC. Something really challenging to do at max level with the best gear.

I think it has a lot missing. If it's making this claim that it's a "FPSRPG" then it needs to be an RPG. That means a gripping storyline, character background, etc. You can't just have a leveling system and call yourself an RPG. Leveling systems are found in almost every genre at this point. Also, the game sucks. So anything that could be added to make it not suck would just be great.

Little bit harsh, the game didnt suck. The cell shaded art style, though called lazy by early reviewers, really does work for it, and was most enternaining. It was fantastic to play through, just loads of fun.But had nothing of even slight intelligent. The story was slow, bland, boring, told awkwardly and had the biggest "nut-punch" of an ending ever. But your 100% right on the leveling system being in just about every game these days. It seems almost standard, and it really should have just called itself an RPG not FPSRPG

The graphics were fine. The game was just not well put together.
