Hey everybody, just wanting to say that, i have been playing quite a few games, like Taiko no tatsujin, IDOLM@STER, and so on.. and is looking for some nice "Rhythm" games / Music games, since i'm somehow getting bored of my current games >_< Help appreciated.. And btw, needs some info on where i put my SAV File. i can't find it >> the moment i throw it in my Games Folder my games wouldn't work.. Until i remove them :D Thanks anyway..

Oh I actually thought this was a dupe topic. I jumped to conclusions to quickly.Anyway music/rhythm games... Hmm...There's electroplankton which is a music-maker game. There's also Alvin and the Chipmunks! And that's about all I can come up with. I'm sorry I don't know much about these types of games but I guess it's a start. And I'm sorry I don't quite understand your problem about the sav.file. Are you talking about a flashcart or emulator?

For shame jamzemu...The "official" recommended games topic is here:http://www.dgemu.com...howtopic=450462@OP: For a flashcart, .SAV files go in the root of the SD card. For emulators, for example No$gba, the file goes in the "Battery" folder of the emulator's folder (Desktop\No$gba\BATTERY)If anything, use the emulation section of this forum for save file issues, but post in the appropriate topics.EDIT: jamzemuSorry Mario but I'm going to have to disagree with this one. I'm reopening this. While the new Recommended DS games section is being made, this topic should remain open. This topic is fairly unique in the sense that he's asking for "Music/Rhythm" games which he won't really get recommended anywhere else. Besides, there are other topics like "Game suggestions for 6yrs old" and they're still open. So I think it's fair that this one remains open too.If any mod still disagrees then they may close it.

Don't have much experience with music games, but the one I have played and thoroughly enjoyed was Elite Beat Agents. You're not just pressing buttons or something in time to the beat, but pressing specific spots on the screen with the stylus instead. The humor is great and the songs are old favorites that are pretty catchy.

I'm not really into rhythm based games, but if you like jpop like music I would recommend "The World Ends With You". Actually I would recommend it to anyone because I have never played a game that took such command of the DS format and deliver an experience wholly original with a great storyline, and I love a great storyline.

That's a tricky one. Like shrm, I would recommended EBA and I would also recommend Rhythm Heaven. I recommend EBA as it features well known songs such as YMCA.

aite here's a list for ya. i already filtered out the best ds music and rhythm games to date (well at least till summer 2010) outta my excruciatingly huge collection of ds games. these are all the games in my rhythm and music rom folder:electroplankton - interesting take on making musicelite beat agents - one of the greatest rhythm games of all timejam sessions 1 & 2 - kinda teaches you howta play a guitar... i think.. haven't played em yet, but thats what i heardkorg ds-10 synthesizer - straight up a synthesizerlego rock band - kinda put a twist on the rhythm genrerhythm heaven - another amazing rhythm gameultimate band - jus a plain ol solid rhythm game (still pretty awesome)i excluded the ds guitar hero games cuz they require the special guitar grip that goes into the gba slot... doubt you wanna go out and waste your money on that

Let me throw this in. Taiko no tatsujin DS.Drum rhythm game where you simply hit the inside and the side of the drum to the beat. Anime fans will get a kick out of this as you play anime opening and themes (chala head chala anyone?)
