I don't feel the need to do so. What happened was really a lack of any sort of planning. I feel awful for the torture these individuals are enduring, but really, my money can't help them any more than it can help me. There are hundreds of missionaries running loose over there. They can do it. Of that I'm certain.

I do not have the money to give to them, but I am stationed over there to help deliver the supplies and provide extra support.

I really wish that I had the finances to do so. Sadly the budget is really tight and I'm not in a position to help out.

Nope, because I can't afford to and honestly even if I could I don't think I would. It's just not something I would see myself doing.

We have given some through a school fundraiser but we plan to give a bunch more when we get out Tax Refund. We also donate to local charities- we understand there is a lot of suffering here in our own country too.

No matter how little your income, the people in haiti need every cent they can get. I have given multiple times and will continue to give.

I'd like to help, but on a larger scale than donating money. I can't even donate money since I don't even earn money yet...Also, I'm too adapted to my comfortable lifestyle to step out of my bubble, so I guess I'm selfish...

Though in America, I know we are supposed to be the ones who help everyone, but I believe that before I can give money out to others, my country needs to fix it's only money problems. So no. Sadly, I can't say that I trust to give my money away to another country at this time.

I did give away some money, got a thank you note in return. Not that I needed it but it seems like a waste of energy and paper to write to everyone who donates money. Save it for those who need it.Here in Sweden we have an organisation that helps other countries with food and water and education.. Then the leader or what ever he was, went out and bought a really expensive car for his paycheck.. Which came from the donations made. It upset a lot of people and I sure hope he gets fired. That's is something that I consider wrong, why should he get paid so much for helping others and why should they take money from the donations and give to him? Just crazy.
