Ok, i've got a question. In what format are the games when they've been bought and downloaded off the PSN? Are they eboots? And can they be freely distributed (off the memory card) once downloaded?

yes they are in eboot system.Im pretty sure you can only copy the game once or twiceand you can only download the game 3 time once youve bought it, meaning after you download it 3 times you have to buy the game again.HINT: Ask a friend to split the cost 50/50 that way you both get the gameand its only half price

Is the cat in the box alive or dead?

If you open the box, you will know the answer.

You will know the truth.

However, until you open the box, you can claim that the cat is alive, and you can also claim it is dead.

No, i'm not planning to buy any games myself. Thing is, this guy from whom i'm gonna be buying a 2000 also has a 3000. Now, being an ultra rich guy, all his games (about 7 of them) have been bought off the PSN. Naturally, this means they're on his memory stick (though he hasn't checked/can'y, since he's a complete newbie at everything digital), so can't the necessary files simply be copied off the memory card?

I just use ISOs.I don't have a wifi hotspot (I have internet so that means i could reach the PSN right?) or place to get a UMD for miles. And I don't want to spend money on games that don't last more than a week :happybday: .Nonono

Yes i agree, thing is if the eboots can indeed be redistributed, then the PSP In doesn't need to be hacked (atleast not for free games)

Does noone understand that Downgraded PSP have already brought the death of PSP's.Have you guys ever noticed how that there arent as many games that have come out on PSP?Becase there are so many people with downgraded PSP's, that the creators have practically given upon the PSP, Sony would never have brought PSN to PSP's if there were never any downgraded PSP's.Sony released the PSP GO, because it is a fool proof item that will stop the copying of games, asISO are only created from using a UMD disc, soon enough SONY will stop producing UMD's for the PSP,and will force all people to buy games off PSN, meaning a downgraded PSP will be deemed useless, and every game that you buy on PSN will be expensive, all games now are at least 30 dollars plus, which is already expensive after you add the cost of the actual internet fee along with the game.i could explain more, though it gets a bit crazy after i type more than one paragraph.

Meh.There are enough games now to last me 4 years,The UMD is dead and I won't go to the PSN just to buy games. It's been 5 years since i bought one and that was 10 games for just 10$.The UMD sucks and thats why it is not gonna be produced anymore.Hey My memcard actually cost less than a UMD and already did the work of 7 UMDs.Next time I go to buy a PSP game, I will buy an extra memory stick instead.I hope handhelds get a boost soon because I'm not too impressed with their games yet.

The PSP-Go been hacked (just not enough to run homebrew.)And for all intents and purposes eboot = ISOPiracy on the PSP is better then it is on the NDS, but the DS decided to get a stable platform and larger user base so it isn't as noticeable. The last PSP game I bought was Disgaea 2 (I bought about 30 games the first 2 years it was out.)
