I like fishing. but i haven't fished in yearswhen i was 7 i caught a 6 pound largemouth bass with a 8 foot wooden pole and 10 feet of line.took me 10 minutes to lift that pole up high enough to get him.i can say it's great for a kids to catch once like that.25 pound salmon when i was older 20 minutes fighting that one.

I haven't gone fishing since I was eight years old. I suppose you could say I was scarred by my last experience. I had managed to get myself dragged into the lake and hit my head on a rock.

Well my friends go for fishing in fields and lakes and streams but i never joined them. They also catch big fish and eat them. They do it more for the catching and eating than the fun of it.Using special techniques they set traps and go back the next day to harvest their catch.I don't understand how they do it.

Can't say as I've ever been fishing. I used to want to when I was little (we live literally about a 10, maybe 15 minute walk away from a lake) but my dad didn't want to and insisted I would think it's gross. In retrospect, had he started me on it young like I'd wanted, it wouldn't have seemed too gross, but starting it as an adult....yeeeeah, the idea sort of squicks me out a little.

The one time I did go fishing, I enjoyed it. It was a rather disappointing trip though, because I only caught two fish and a clam after five or six hours; and my pole broke from the second fish I caught, which was a catfish. The bad catch was probably due to where I was fishing though.

Fishing is relaxing not really a hobby of mine I just usually end up lying back and listening to my mp3 player. Maybe that's why I only ever caught one fish?

I always wind up just mooching around instead of focusing on the art of fishing. Dunno why, but I never seem to pay enough attention.

I haven't been fishing for a few years now. Last time I did go, was during a big family picnic, my little brothers were catching perch back to back...I felt like choking myself with the line. The last time I can even remembering catching a fish, was during a camping trip my school held during eighth grade, me and some friends were fishing off of a pier, I wasn't expecting to catch any thing; as usual, but luckily I was blessed with a silver cat. I think it was about 8 or 9 pounds. I asked the camp cook to fry it for me...guy didn't even skin it before he cooked the poor thing. He had some one bring it out to me during lunch, I took one look at the horrible scourge of heaven smoldering on my plate, ever so casually walked over to the trash can and with a big thumbs up and a sarcastic grin, tossed it right in.*Sigh* I was so ready to chow down on that thing, I had hot sauce and everything.

Can't fish at all but I sure enjoy eating a newly caught fish, cooked over and open fire with some salt and a nice drink ^_^I feel like I'm better at relaxing while someone else is trying to catch the fish, then I'll prep it for you :(

I wish I had a family to go fishing with. Not just like my mom and her husband and my sister but a wife and kids. I think that would bring much more meaning to spending the day at the lake or something.

I can fish, but I can easily lose patience. For this reason, I prefer fishing in rivers instead of lakes; the faster the current, the more fish headed my way. :D
