Well...what about those of us who can't swim, and just flounder around like crazy in the water? :) Meh, not so much a swimming person here.

In the ocean is my favorite place to swim since I'm allergic to chlorine (get all red and itchy). I'd really like to visit the dead sea (or was it the red sea?) that is so salty that you float without effort :) Nice!Reason for edit: spelling error.

If you're ever in Austin, TX make sure to go to Barton Springs pool. Best swim in your life.

Most of the time, I'm in the pool. Other times I can be in the ocean, but I hate rip currents I was trapped in one of those....

Since I grew up on the water, I like swimming in pools, feels nicer than salt water.

If you swim in murky beach water, there will be all sorts of weird things happening. Once there was a jellyfish warning... and I got tangled in something clear.... and it turned out to be....

I just like to go to a place around here that a lot of people aren't usually at. The water is black, but I'd rather swim in crap looking water than with a ton of people.

I would never swim in "crap". It would take like a two hour shower to rid me of the "crappy" smell. Why not swim with a bunch of people?

My uni is pretty close to the beach, so I go there. It's awesome, and usually quiet. Too bad I sunburn easily :/

I enjoy swimming in the beach cause the waves are really fun to be in,but I really don't like it if the salt water gets in my eyes,it stings.

On the Olympic pool at my university. I felt buff (I wasn't) after a month of swimming all days. I felt good about myself, but then stuff happen. Hopefully I will be able to get back to it.

I like to swim in lakes rather than in pools. It feels more natural.

Sense i don't go to the beach to swim, i like to swim in cool water as long as it is not dangerous anywhere is fine, the best place i ever went swimming was at a resort with huge lake sized pools and waterfalls.

I'll swim just about anywhere... except a crowded public pool. public pools are gross. at least a dirty lake has water flowing...

I prefer swimming in indoor pools. I can't stand the thought of swimming in a lake with a bunch of critters (especially leeches)...but indoor swimming pools don't have this problem. :)
