I personally wouldn't. They remake too many games... Gold/Silver is a good idea, but if I EVER see red/blue remade again, let's say for the next Nintendo handheld, I will be extremely irratated. They milk off the franchise, and we as idiots buy whatever they throw at us -.- But I'm glad to see that 5th generation will be coming out for for DS end of 2010 in Japan, and it's about time. I'd go for 5th generation over Pokemon yellow, anyday. And besides, you can be like Ash in HG/SS in the sense you can have any Pokemon follow you around. Including Pikachu. Then you go back to Kanto and pretend you are Ash. lol

Lets see, I played yellow, I played Pokemon Silver, I played Leaf Green. seeing the same layout over and over again isn't really appealing.I like my games fresh, sure some nostalgia in the mix would be nice, but all in all, I don't feel incline to beat a game i already beat once, change to "WHOLE" layout of the game (and i don't mean change the 2D to a 3D look like they did with HG&SS) then well talk.

I really liked Pokemon Yellow over the Red and Blue due to the fact that you got some "free" pokemon that you could only get one of in the B / R one. The little Pikachu that constatly walks behind you is a kinda cute feature as well. But no, I wouldn't like to see a remake of the game since they already did Fire Red and Leaf Green. However, I do get your point to be able to follow the storyline more from the TV show. It would be nice, but I've grown up just little to much to still watch it :whistling:A new game where you start from the original game and then proceed forward to the very end would be really nice, longlasting and probably have a great replay value as well. Gief!

Na, It was a classic. they can only remake a game so many times before it gets too old.

First up,I download ROMsSecond they all complain about it being enough milked and the 5th generation pokemon will look retarded (I think they changed their design method and drwing method...It doesn't look handdrawn while FR/LG did...Plus pokemon yellow could have it from kanto all the way to sinnoh and then you finally unlock the 5th GEN by some wii interaction or something//Thats not boring.HGSS is so funny when an onix hops into nurse joy's hands.

Fire Red and Leaf Green were terrific remakes IMO. However, they do not need another Yellow version. Why? Well, I absolutely hate Ash (he is too incompetent), they already remade the 1st gen games, and like the 2nd poster said, Heart Gold and Soul Silver will have that Pokemon following you aspect. Plus, you can do it with ANY Pokemon, not just Pikachu. But I guess some nostalgia wouldn't be too bad.

Well the follow around part just have this "cuteness factor" to it that I like. It's just not about nostalgia to me, it's more of really nice memories coming back to life when you get to play an old game that just looks better.
