So I bought The Last Remnant for my 360. I've got 6 more days until i can no longer return it if im unsatisfied with it, was it a good buy? I'm into in depth rpgs with great customization. Is my money well spent?

I bought mine used for 15 bucks. It is...interesting to say the least. I would advise downloading it to your harddrive or the battles will take forever to load up on occasion. There are an insane amount of items and potential weapon upgrades in the game but you only need to use a small amount. It is definitely not a game that I would replay, ever. I would say the best redeeming quality is the music which is surprisingly well done in this game. One of the worst was the main character - there is only so much shemale I can take before I have to draw the line. Seriously.Oh and the main antagonist is named Conqueror. He is probably the most atypical character that I have ever seen in any video game.

I really tried to like this game, especially with some of the major battle scenes once you hit disc 2, but several decisive factors condemned it for me. I'm not a fan of major war battles that can take upwards to an hour even if you're over leveled (well actually there's no base levels in the game, but a general one after each battle) and then facing a very challenging boss, only to die and have to begin all over again. It's got great music and great characters, but an amazingly bad story with zero plot twists. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this. There's other reasons why, but it's better to find out for yourself. If you do enjoy it, then by all means, praise it, because I really tried and perhaps unconsciously still DO try to enjoy it
