Now, it's not a huge problem, but I have noticed that some developers don't really understand what I seek in a portable videogame. Square-Enix tend to be the biggest culprits with stupidly long cutscenes. Two games I've bought off them so far, Chlidren of Mana and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings have featured long cutscenes that aren't that easy to skip. The latter being the worst offender. Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 days is also a bad offender with long cutscenes, that can thankfully, be skipped but thereby making you feel as if you've lost out on what's going on.Now I know you need to advance the plot with these games and I quite like to have some plot, but they do seem a bit on the long side. I'm trying to play a game on the go and sometimes, I have to quit. I can't just pause, I have to quit. But I'm in the middle of a cutscene and it's taking forever to conclude. I need to switch the DS off, I can't keep it on, because it's going to be ages before I get back to the game again. It means that whenever I'm on the go, I tend to take games that don't have huge cutscenes. Problem being they're either games I've played to death or ones that I've already finished. The ones I haven't yet finished and have yet to finish, on teh meantime, build up at home.Is anybody else irritated by this?
What is it with DS and long cutscenes?

Long cutscenes tend to annoy me yes. But that's after I've seen them once already though. Kind of wish for the feature most GBA games have that you can just press one button and you move on to the next battle or savepoint. Is anybody else irritated by this?
