Does anybody here play them often? I'm like, obsessed. I've replayed all of them multiple times, besides the new one. Has anybody played the newest one? How is it?

Newest one? Are you referring to the one with Edgeworth? That's the one I haven't played yet too. I'm currently working on T&T and Apollo Justice. When I'm done with those then I'll go to the Edgeworth one. As for the series itself, I thoroughly enjoy it too. Punny names, great twists, etc. I've always kind of been a mystery/murder/detective fan ever since I saw Detective Conan/Cased Close and read Sherlock Holmes.

There are so many twists and turns in this game with many hidden mysteries. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is quite a long game with the last case being the longest out of the 5 games I think? They also implemented many awesome and interesting quotes in this case as well. A must play to find out if you have played any of the other games. Although this should be the last game played out of the 5 games availiable

I have played every game of Phoenix and Apollo, and now I'm recently playing Edgeworth's game. So far, I'm really liking it, since the cases, for once, are connected to each other.

Well...being the brother of a lawyer in training, I find the entire series to be an affront to the study of jurisprudence (I mean, really? Their arguments are pathetic.) As a game, though, the overall experience isn't bad.I wish the artists were a little less lazy. Some of the close ups look terrible, like Phoenix's accusation glare, and some of the scenes look like the were made in 10 minutes on Photoshop.

I love the Ace Attorney series so much. Sure, the cases are pretty out there, like not declaring evidence and no repercussions for witnesses committing perjury all the time, but definitely incredibly entertaining.

I'm also a fan of Ace Attorney though as kirbyfreak73 said, I found some of the arguments silly.I've finished playing the newest one (Edgeworth) and it's pretty good, though I prefer playing Phoenix Wright more.I've never played Apollo Justice...

I have played all 5 Ace Attorney games, though they are all exciting while playing, I feel that it has little replay value maybe because i feel the mystery of the case kept me going but once thats gone it feels pointless

I myself have played the three Pheonix Wright games, and then Apollo Justice. I found all of them to be very good games, however, I have to agree with the above poster when saying that they have little replay value. I must admit, though, that it is easy to forget where clues are hidden etc..., and, given enough time between playthroughs it does have some replay value.

Oh my Gosh! I was looking all over for this thread because if there wasn't one I was gonna post one myself. :(Ace Attorney! Is my favourite series of games on the DS EVER. In fact it is almost beating Pokemon for the games that I've spent far too many hours of my life and on. I've played each game (apart from the Edgeworth game, since I have to wait for my little sister to finish it first, snif) but I plan on replaying them slowly but surely... and getting more out of it. A lot of people don't like Ace Attorney - they say, what's so fun about reading text about lawyers and stuff? Well it's more than meets the eye. The games are a jewel in terms of dialogue and character development. The music, in my opinion, is also perfect - I never got bored of hearing it. With other games, I would often turn down the volume because the songs were so repetitive but in Ace Attorney the music is just simple and awesome. I even have a playlist on youtube of the music I listen to when I get bored. >=(I love Apollo Justice! So many people are saying they haven't played it, but I think it was one of the best in the series. The characters are soooo endearing, especially Trucy ! Also it uses the DS controls a lot more with fingerprint testing, footprint testing and you can even rotate every single piece of evidence to find extra clues about it.I recommend trying at least the first game and seeing how you like it! You might be surprised. Even I was. I scoffed at my sister when she showed me the game but now I regret ever doing that because I am irrevocably hooked. And yes, it is true that replayability may be a factor - but I'm the type of person who re-reads the same books over and over again so perhaps it just doesn't matter to me how many times I play the games. :DWho's everyone's favourite character? Mine is Edgeworth - which is why I really need to get my hands on the 5th game, and pronto! Also ... I'm really hoping they make a sequal to Apollo Justice - too many loose ends that need tying up!

The Ace Attorney series? One of my most favorite ones ever in my DS.Sure their arguments can get a little off, but that's sometimes the point; the humor in the game. It's fun to hear what Phoenix always thinks about the situation. The characters are awesome and there are many times where I would laugh out loud. It's a fun game anyone should try when they want to take a break from Pokemon or any other RPG game.Oh yeah, I played all five games already. And my favorite character is EDGEY! X3 He's just so cool and all that. :awesome: Oh, I like Apollo a lot too, wonder why people don't like him? I sometimes think they just miss Phoenix and they're sad that he turned into a hobo-ish guy. *lol*I can't wait for the second Ace Investigations to come out! Have you heard of it? They said that they're making a new one and it stars Edgeworth again! And and, Shelly de Killer makes a comeback too along with other characters...including a new judge! :) I have to thank my friend for what she has discovered. Hehe.

I've played the 3 original games and the 1st case of the latest game (Investigations), which I loved so far. I like the series largely for its stories, and I find the crime "drama" and the interactions between characters interesting. Considering the kinds of things that do go on in the series, I don't even think they take themselves all that seriously. Keep in mind this is made by Japanese people, so they probably have a different view of the legal system (I assume it's different in Japan, despite them setting the series in the US iirc). Also, a second Investigations game is coming out if I remember correctly =). I'm excited for it, but I need to play the 1st Edgeworth game fully first.

I did not like the "series." I've only played the first one. I expected a lot from it, because it just sounded really cool/fun. I was sadly let down. I knew there would be little replay, so that wasn't the problem, in fact I don't really want to replay it unless I'm just really bored. The game is just too linear. I thought it would be a game where you could make your case and discover what you need. But everything is basically spoonfed (Yes it does get tougher, note time-consuming). I guess I just expected too much from the game, when I should've realized it is a DS game with limited capabilities. I can't just use my logic and solve a case, you had to go through the steps.Even though I did not enjoy the game like I wanted, it was ok. I would enjoy it more if it was just court trials though. It got to the point for me that discovery was just boring clicking everything and asking pointless qestions going back and forth.

Hypothetically, the series started on the GBA with even less power, but...that's not the point. The game -is- essentially a visual novel, and plays as such; you're on a linear path, solving a (usually) linear case, and you always are forced to do things in roughly the same order. The point is in the ride, however; sure, there's little replayability, but it's one of those games you just have to enjoy for the characters, the plot, and all that. Not even to mention that the games all have all sorts of crazy scenarios, it's hard not to mention what happens in-game without revealing some glaring spoiler, or just adding more obscurity to the person you're explaining it to. Sure, the series has its pitfalls, but all in all, I don't think there was a single game I did not utterly enjoy in some way.

They're making a new game. It's a collaboration between Professor Layton and Ace Attorney. Looks interesting actually.

I'm playing through the first one now. My first experience with the series. I have to say it's quite charming and well written.
