Well, nowadays I don't use things that need batteries very often, but when I do I borrow my mom's rechargables. But when I still played my GBC, I had an external battery pack that was a bit awkward and bulky...so whenever I didn't need the portability I just skipped it and plugged the charge cord directly into my GBC.Hey, it worked :(

Sure do, only mouse and Wii controls though. The rechargable batteries here in Sweden cost almost the double from normal, one use ones. I also have an infinite.. something. I just realised that I don't know the name of it but here's a picture for you all :(http://www.hobbyman....proppbyte_1.jpgThey are infinite because if the electricity goes, you just pop it back and it works :)

I do indeed! It's really the only way to go. Unfortunately, over time, they too wear out and have to be replaced, but in the longrun, you'll save hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of dollars on them. (I'm certain that the rechargeable batteries I've used in my cameras alone have saved me thousands. With how quickly I go through them...There's no way I could ever afford to keep buying those every couple days!)

I always use rechargables, but if it dies since I forgot to charge them I steal some batteries from my remote.

If I can't recharge it I don't even bother buying it half the time because being able to recharge instead of wasting money is friggin awesome

Of course, you would waste SO MUCH GODDAMN money on battery's if you didn't use the recharge packs.

That is why you always buy 2 battery's :DAlthough that other guys idea wasn't bad either, using wired controllers. That is the only thing I have to give the PS3 credit for is it's recharge ability is built directly into the controller so you can use it however you want.

Well, yeah, I use rechargeable AA batteries for the wiimote and if I'm playing some kind of handheld. I also use those batteries if I'm using a mouse. I don't know if the batteries are necessarily cheaper, but I feel like I'm being more environmentally friendly by not going through like five pairs of AA batteries every time I play a new wii game with lots of wiimote vibration and sound effects.

for my Wiimotes i use an aftermarket battery charging thing. i use the standard sensor bar though, so there's no need for batteries there. i loved the fact that they finally built a rechargeable battery pack into the GBA-SP i just wish mine hadn't gotten stolen.... it was even custom painted... for a while i had the charging cord for my GBC but before then....... oof it was horrible to buy dollar store batteries once a week.... but still some fond memories of sitting under the covers with a half dead GBC with the little light attachment, hoping to god the batteries wouldnt conk before the end of the battle :)
