Aw man, I just realized that the reply I spent a half hour writing somehow didn't get posted properly! :s Oh well, I actually care enough about it to write it again because I'm interested to see what yall think about it.So there are really only two games that have been disappoint for me, and I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned them yet! Here they are:1: Infinite SpaceDidn't this game get great reviews before its US release? I remember so much hype! And then it came out, and I was excited, and the first few hours were pretty cool, and then...it became basically unplayable. My biggest gripes are the battle system, which seems unnecessarily tedious and luck-based, and the crew management/ship building system, which seems really underdeveloped for its level of complexity. The manual is a BIG help, but even so I feel like it just got suddenly boring after the first bit of excitement. Maybe I should give it another try and see how things progress. What do you think?2: Sands of DestructionI was really excited for the game! Written by the same guy who did Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, and part of FFVII? Music by the legendary Yasunori Mitsuda? A short anime series to promote the game? Who wouldn't be excited?! Maybe it was that excitement that killed the game for me. You know, aside from the feeling of a D&D nightmare GMed by Amtrak. Have I mentioned this game is a railroader? It made me feel like FFX was a sandbox game! Actually, that's really my only major gripe about this game. The battle system, though repetitive, is pretty cool and unique enough to keep playing. The graphics and music are also pretty nice--you can definitely tell Mitsuda composed it but made a point of keeping it original. The story...ok, it's no Chrono Trigger, but it was interesting enough to keep me playing.Maybe Sega's getting old. Maybe they're not as good as I used to think they were. Maybe I'm getting old! (yikes) Either way, it's pretty sad that the only two games in recent history that have really let me down are from the same company. Oh well, at least there are plenty of other great games to keep me busy! ;)

@kander12: that's the problem with the two games I mentioned, though. They both got really good reviews! At the same time, some games I've played have had poor reviews but have been really good. I guess you can't rely entirely on the ratings/reviews, huh? Or maybe that's just me :s

spore was fun at first, but then when i get to the galactic stage, i'm literally trying to keep track of a thousand different planets that i'm either friends with or at war with. it moved to that stage way too fast, imo. the creature stage was the most fun for me

Star Fox Assault for the Game Cube, too short and undiverse with a boring story that just gets weird at the end, trying to be heavier than it actually is because you're just a bunch of animals used to represent human characters that could possibly be taken seriously.

Final Fantasy XIII was a MAJOR disspointment. Loved all of the games in the series so far (except a few of the GBA ones), though this one was a letdown... After 25+ games, you would think they would get it right?

Ugh, dont remind me. I managed an 8 hour run. and that was it. one or two more half hour attempts but I couldn't get into it. this or Age of Conan [Collectors edition], I dont know which is the worse purchase-wait, Celebrity Death-match. that was the worst ever. no questions asked. We're not talking Superman64 bad, but it was BAD.Edit: whoops wrong quote :D, still a lil new on button location on the site.

Nostalgia disappointed me. :br: What kind of turn based RPG rates each and every battle!? :br: Imagine if you had played Final fantasy VI and after every single battle it said you got a B or a C rank, wouldn't that annoy the hell out of you?The ranking system was jacked up to boot, if you over leveled even a little it made it harder to get higher ranks instead of easier!Well I guess it's just my hang-ups and being near obsessed with rankings in games that made Nostalgia not so great for me.If you don't give a damn about what rank you get in battles then Nostalgia is actually a pretty good game.Oh yeah it keeps track of how many of each rank you get through out the game, from S rank to D rank.I had to get ranks S,A, or at least rank B, if I got anything lower I had to reset...because I'm crazy like that! :br:

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.Anyone else play that game? You'll definitely know what I mean.I bought the game because unlike many of my peers, I enjoyed FFXII, and am also a huge fan of RTS games, particularly Starcraft. So when I heard this would be a RTS game, I imagined a Final Fantasy that was equally fast paced as it's PS2 counterpart.Boy was I wrong, the gameplay was shallow, slow, and character customization was ridiculously limited.Weapons and equipment didn't provide any special abilities, so you only equipped the gear that gave the highest numbers. The only good thing about it was the music, because it managed to bring over a lot of tracks from the PS2 FFXII.Details of the areas were also nicely detailed. But the gameplay makes me regret buying it.I rate it a 4/10

I was disappointed to that a final fantasy series became a real time strategy because I had fun playing those quick slash-y but fancy rpg turn based games..but for money.. I just downloaded this on this site and emulate.. =D so no regrets, but bad gameplay though..

1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 (PS3, Xbox360)I actually looked forward to play this game, despite the bad reviews... boy was I stupid.2. Sonic & The Black KnightShort... VERY short.3. Mario Party 8I believe the formula got stale. 6 was the best in my opinion.4. Final Fantasy XII Revenant WingsGot bored.I can't really name much. Most of my games are enjoyable.---Edit: Kingdom Hearts: ReChain of Memories was boring too. I'll stick with the GBA version.

Pokemon Diamond. It lags...so...slowly...like molasses. I...run...off..and do my homework...while the screen loads. Seriously, Firered had bad graphics, but at least it was decently fast.

Are you using a genuine Diamond?Or is it a Flash cart.It is most probably that there is a problem with your Flash cart if you have one.

I'd have to say Final Fantasy XI. I can barely remember the gameplay, but I just couldn't get past the character designs. I was pretty hopeful, too, given that FF games tend to have terrific designs.

I'd have to say the biggest let down was an old windows dos/95 game called Obsidian. 5 discs and no instructions. the game play was boring the puzzles were crap and the graphics were worse than Myst. over all .5/10

hmm,The digimon world are dissapoint

No it isn't! I mean, it's just like Pokemon, so it ain't bad. The storyline could have used a little work, but I loved it till the end of the game. Ah...my powerful Tanemon...:)As I remember, Diamond didn't give me any problems. Though it's a little hard to remember since I only recall myself playing Platinum a lot.Megaman Starforce was okay; played through the three games, but I haven't finished the third out of laziness.Magical Starsign could have been better honestly, it seemed nice, but I wanted more graphics on it.Yeah so...I think most games are okay. Though some really are bad. It totally depends on the person who plays 'em.

Spore...Huge hype, lasts a few hours at most...Although, in response to the original post, Super Scribblenauts sounds a lot better.
