Agreed!Combat was cool, being able to go all out every battle was nice and evened the playing field. The plot was awful and the game was so damn linear!Final Fantasy 13. Nuff said

Ah yeah.. Scribblenauts was a major let down. But not the worst. Legend Of Zelda: Spirit tracks is the most disappointing DS title for me. I loved Phantom Hourglass. The world felt deep. I could explore where I wanted and there were lots of nooks and crannies in the world. Furthermore traveling the world was fun, the characters were interesting and the puzzles were fun.Spirit Tracks, however... First of all, it took a lot longer to get going than any other Zelda game I've played. I don't mind a slow start, but Spirit Tracks never seemed to pick up the pace; even when I got to ride under the water and shoot things, it never felt exciting. I think it's because I never felt like I was exploring. I was confined to a track, that went across an empty expanse of green that was sparsely populated with fruitless towns that seemed like they were made purely for continuing the story. No secret islands to discover, like the DS island easter egg in Phantom Hourglass. Also, traveling felt like a chore. I had to fend off enemies, run from stupid exploding trains and watch the rails for animals.. and it wasn't fun. It just seemed like these elements were put in to make journey between places... I dunno, excusable. Dungeon exploring was standard, but also felt like a chore at times - but maybe that was the negative effect of the mundane train ride required to get to the dungeon. As for the plot and characters, well, I didn't really care about them. I found Phantom Hourglass' plot captivating, and I liked the relationships between the characters. I was especially fond of Linebeck. The characters in Spirit Tracks, on the other hand, seemed clichéd and uninteresting. This was the weakest game in the Zelda series for me - excluding the third party titles that were licensed ages ago...Sigh. Hopefully the next DS installment will be better.I've just bought scribblenauts (bit late to the party, i know), a game which i have been saving up for and was fairly excited aboutand it's rubbish. were you let down?

I disagree. In my opinion FFXll: RW had pretty good gameplay. I think the only reason you think its not that good is because the fights take to long. Right?Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.Anyone else play that game? You'll definitely know what I mean.I bought the game because unlike many of my peers, I enjoyed FFXII, and am also a huge fan of RTS games, particularly Starcraft. So when I heard this would be a RTS game, I imagined a Final Fantasy that was equally fast paced as it's PS2 counterpart.Boy was I wrong, the gameplay was shallow, slow, and character customization was ridiculously limited.Weapons and equipment didn't provide any special abilities, so you only equipped the gear that gave the highest numbers. The only good thing about it was the music, because it managed to bring over a lot of tracks from the PS2 FFXII.Details of the areas were also nicely detailed. But the gameplay makes me regret buying it.I rate it a 4/10
