I bring it to school everyday, it just depends on the class on when I use the emulator.

Back in 2005-2006 (Junior year of high school) I had a couple CDs full of SNES/NES/N64/Genesis ROMs I'd play in CADD class, since the professor literally gave us no work to do ever.In any other class, no, I haven't tried. I'd rather get the work done :V

I'd be careful if I were you, it depends on the school's rules, but I had a friend that played emulators in school (and even shared them with friends, except for me), he ended up losing computer privileges (he was in a programming class and had to do his assignments on paper and have the teacher type it in), as soon as he got his computer privileges back, he did it again, which resulted in him being expelled from school

Never did since I was more concerned with my schoolwork, and because I was wary about using such things on a computer that wasn't my own. Even now, I wouldn't for the same reasons. And also because I have a Cyclo now, which renders some emulator use redundant.

I can't because of school firewalls. I'd bring in a flashdrive with all my games, but doing that is apparently a suspend-able offense since it's like hacking into the computer.

Yes, but only on days that I bring my laptop to use outside of classes. There are computer labs, but I prefer not to download things on other people's computers.

I put the games in a flashdrive, but I can only play when my teacher isn't around... which is not often.

me and my friends used to play emulators all the time in class (: we'd link up over the schools computer network and play N64 games, or bring a GBA emulator on our flashdrives and play pokemon all zone, can't belive we actually all graduated... haha

I had ZSNES on a flashdrive I'd play all time in the back row of the computer lab. FF3 (FF6) all the way.

I personally never did that back in the day at high school nor did i ever see anyone else play an emulator. The games people played in the library at my school was either WoW, Counterstrike, or online poker. Since the days of high school everyone knows me as the Texas hold'em king of the school. I played alright in groups but if i made it to the final 2 i usually always won.

I use emulators in school when I'm really bored, it's good to have them for a computer class where there isn't a lot of work.

Sonic Rush Adventures and New Super Mario Bros on the NDS during Computer Applications I. We had one of the biggest classrooms in the school, me in the corner closest to the door, an easy-going teacher with too much free time in class, and hours of frustration on beating the desert level. Still haven't beat because I haven't played the game at all after that class. After that, I just played Tetris DS in Computer Applications II. Played it when the Internet was blocked and played while the middle school students took a tour. That class seriously needed it. Sure, the teacher was nice and gave us those projects, but I finished so early compared to the rest of the class. I think the guy next to me read manga all class.

I have some of game downloads on my USB. Sometimes, if my professor doesn't keep an eye on students during computer class, I download an emulator (like VBA) and at least two roms...I tried download Megaman Battle Network 1 and 2 there.

A few years ago yes, but recently, since we've got a new ICT guy, who has blocked all those emulator not anymore. I'm not someone with the right skills to go beyond that blocking, so no, not anymore :lol:Although I do have games on my calculator :awesome:

Not a chance. I don't have classes which involved a computer in my almost 2 years in college. I do have some when I was in high school but I don't play during class. The teacher's always checking on what we do and he's pretty strict so I can't and of course I won't.

I mentioned in a nother thread, that my Junior year of high school, I had the same teacher 3 times, and his class was in a computer lab, and I also had classes during my Sophmore year, and Senior year, and yes I had NES, GB/GBC, SNES, Arcade and Sega Genesis emulators on the school computers. He actually didn't care, if we were done with work, he would let us play, and somedays he didn't even give us work (mainly during the end of the school year)I remember one day, It was about 3 months until the end of the school year my junior year. We had nothing in his class, during the 3 periods. So I sat there, and fired up a SNES emulator, and I was playing Super Mario World, he walks up and says "Aaron, you playing Super Mario World?" I said yep, and then he says "yeah my 2 sons know alot about this emulation stuff" I was like holy **** a teacher knows about emulation? He was a good teacher too, ended up being friends with him after high school, his wife also works at the school, well the elementary school I went to, so I know her, and their kids are pretty cool, and big gamers too. Very smart with computers.
